Yes I will continue to support and add enhancements to both. The version with DOF support is still the "main" option but there are a lot of people looking for a true plug and functionality, which is why I added this to the firmware options.

Controller mappings will change, so if you have current mappings, it will need to be updated for the new controller. I will update the documentation showing this soon.
I can see this being useful for some people but no DOF is a deal breaker for me. I hope you continue to update both firmwares.

Yes, DOF will not work after you switch to x-input, so it is for people who just want a simple game controller experience

Maybe I missed it but after updating do you have to redo the controllers config in pinup, vpx, etc?
