    Does it have any function on the ground out of the water? Can the ring portion be removed to convert to more of a stick style pinpointer?

    Great video, youve sold me on it. I have the vibra tector 740, it will hit a soda can at 5" which is not really helpful, but more dissapointing is that im only getting 2" of depth on rings and coins. The nokta blows it out of the water.

    Amazing video! Wow i cant believe you were double fisting.. i have enough trouble just swinging my detector under water. I live on an island so i have strongly been considering getting one of these. I would probably need a lanyard of some type attached to it because i tend to go out in the evenings and it can get dark, with my luck id lose it. Looks like fun. Thank you for the great video.

      Hello. It does come with a lanyard as well as a wristband: www.noktadetectors.com/metal-detector/pulsedive-scuba-detector-pointer-2-in-1-set/

    Outstanding I'm ready to start work on some cold cases in San Diego and some of the evidence is in a ocean inlet near I-5. This is what I need for sure. Thank you.

    It makes me think of metal detecting with a pin pointer. Seems like an extension handle of some sort would make the swing area much better.

    Always a good explanation about all this detectors, thx and im thinking into buying one of these, one question... did it works well as a pin-pointer with the Excalibur?

    • @DetectorComparisons
      @DetectorComparisons  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Unfortunately the pole circuitry will drive the x-caliber crazy even if you set it up as a pinpointer as opposed to using the five and a half inch coil.

    • @DG-yl9uf
      @DG-yl9uf 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@DetectorComparisons Have you tried shifthing the frequency? It has 40 steps of freq shift.

    • @DetectorComparisons
      @DetectorComparisons  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@DG-yl9uf I have adjusted the frequencies and you can find one that will not react with the Excalibur but the problem is when you turn off the pinpointer and turn it back on , it still makes both the pulse dive and Excalibur chatter. Then you have to go through pressing the buttons again to find a Clear Channel. I did a small video and sent it to the people at nokta to see if we could figure something out

  • @paz1798

    You may change between 40 different frequencies to avoid interfering with other detectors. Hold F and press power i think.

  • @jamescairns3453
    @jamescairns3453 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    I got rid on my vibra tector as it was always "falsing" I'd clear it but then 10 mins later it would go off again without a target! The Nokta has never let me down and I also bought the larger coil as well. Forget the vibra tector it's useless and that's not just my opinion !!

  • @Z3n1tHL0rD
    @Z3n1tHL0rD 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

    I saw that you tried to use the detector as a fan , if you put a plastic cover over the base you could use it to detect and also fan away the sand and pebbles

    nice vidios👊 whats the difrence in ground dep between the pulsedive and minelab. can you make a video an a comparison with thoese too? ths for your videos

    • @DetectorComparisons
      @DetectorComparisons  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you're talking about the Minelab Excalibur, it goes deeper than the pulse dive. The coil is more than twice the size and it goes about twice as deep on coin/ring size objects.

    • @totekiproducts3252
      @totekiproducts3252 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      do you think the pulsedive with a 8" coil will reach about the same dep?

    • @DetectorComparisons
      @DetectorComparisons  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@totekiproducts3252 If it came with a large coil, yes. But you would also have to dig everything because the pulse dive does not discriminate.
