@TaurusWrangler My best guess is that it's because the question is about "discovering that you're growing hair there"...so most people don't have to "discover" that their armpits are hairy, because they know they are beforehand. Of course it's still gross, though.
i think it's because the question is "name a place you'd hate to discover you were growing hair" - you know that you're growing hair there so you wouldn't hate to discover it. it's just a fact. that's also why arms or legs aren't up there.
The question was "Name a place where you would hate to DISCOVER you were going hair?". It's obvious you're gonna grow hair on you're armpits. Besides, the stomach's worse, you can't wear stomach-revealing clothes or so with that. It's more surprising that 'chest' was one of the top answers. I mean, don't they say it's 'manly' to have hair on your chest?
@TaurusWrangler when i was in Jr. high, there was a girl with hairy armpits in my class!, i swear, i needed i barf bag after i noticed that... ... ...thank god i don't have to see her ever again....

You...do realize that all women grow hair out of their armpits, don't you? When there's no hair it's because they shaved/waxed it.
