To be honest, if blocking you is a manipulative / underhand tactic used to instigate anxiety and reaction out of you, then do consider this has a blessing. Why? Because their arrogance makes them commit a mistake as in subconsciously they give you back the power and control of the relationship, as in if they flake and unblock or resort to coming back then they have already placed the decision in your hands whether you would take them back or stick to moving forward, and that my friends' bursts their bubble of fear of losing you forever actually now becoming a reality. So it's a blessing in disguise and no matter how hard they try out their options there will always be just one of you out there and no one can mimic you for them. So what goes around comes back around to bite them in the rear. Move forward and live a quality stress free life.

why keep the person blocked thou?? i only keep people blocked who i think are like stalkers and stuff..if nothing major went down... as in the situation i was just in.. if they just flipped out and bailed - when things were going well, then id say the other person is the unstable one, in my case all i did was follow them when they said they wanted to explore a relationship , my mistake i guess was saying ok.. b cus to act the way this person acted over nothing -- i mean most of you guys had cheating or a problem this was out of the blue..and a new situation..AND there idea to pursue, so for me, Id say some people do not have the communication skills necessary for a relationship , and therefore flip out and then they BLAME YOU, & thats the part i had a big problem with, i refused ot take the blame and i told the person...and then the person blocked me..soit can happen it seems just by standing up for yourself
im not that distraught..id say im perplexed as all hell...lol.. i go to this channel to try to understand some elses insanity ..thats what is bothering me.. fortunately my sitaution didnt become a relationship YET... i can say its just as confusing to have someone pursuing yu and you decide to give them a chance, and you kinda fall for them, and they just do a 180 , leave in a very abrupt manner and refuse to discuss it..that leaves me with questions....i think i caught a break after reading what this type of person has done to other people in this feed, i gave up another person to go pursue this with the looser, and luckily the other person forgave me

Yeah that’s true sometimes ex’s block you for a peace of mind. My ex broke up with me and I just lived my life as if nothing happened and she blocked me from everything even though I wasn’t pursuing. I think it’s sometimes an ego thing too they expect u to chase but if u stand ten toes firm and don’t chase they’ll be wondering why at some point. STAY SOLID!
it totally an ego thing... the person is getting a power trip.. i told the person to feek off for something uncool he did..and he kept ignoring me finally i started swearing and was blocked..never got the apology nothing... its a power trip especially if they did something abrupt rash or hurtful to you and refuse to take responsibility

@@343butterfly Power trip yes good. The guy I was chatting away to decided to dump me after I stopped replying to his texts. I was trying to take some control back, I felt he was always wanting to chat on his terms. Not only did I get dumped I got blocked too on social media. His ego trip not mine.

I have only blocked out one person in my life. A best friend who betrayed me. For 5 around years there was zero communication. I did it out of hurt, to proof him I did not want betrayers in my life, to make him suffer my absence too. During that time I suffered after the loss of my friend, even me being the blocker. Yes, it was childish, but back then I needed a lot of growth before I was able to face him again. A year an a half ago, my ex blocked me out after I lied to her. Now I understand blocking is not a sign of hate or irrelevance, but a primal defensive reaction to some strong emotions we are unable to deal with at the time.

Blocked everywhere since a week after break up, begged and pleaded once, but it was enough to be cold and keep me out of her life. 4 Years of life together, 2 months apart. It sucks, but life keeps going. Just make things as best as you can for yourself, whether they come back or not. Because if they don't you know it wasn't right for you, and you'll find someone so much better
She threatened to block me when I asked her for reconciliation about 8 days ago after she broke up with me 2 months ago.... we were together for 4 good years. I told her to block me but she didn't... I thought it meant soooo much when I was left UNblocked after having been blocked early on after the break-up. It meant nothing. But, I found someone better. I'm so thankful to my ex for giving me up.

I believe if you block a person you end a relationship with its a mistake..unless they re getting scary and your literally afraid of the person..theres a problem with this blocking thing-- I couldn't ask for an item back that belonged to someone who was attacked and killed b cus of this arrogance...ive and an ex who stalked me for real.. someone being upset merely needs to vent..blocking them is making that alto worse..so I wouldn't do that to anyone unless its seriously scary otherwise its a wuss move..power trip..I agree totally

Been 3 weeks since the break up and has blocked me everywhere... he’s already blocked me on most social media before the break up and we only had one way to contact each other. It’s quite painful because someone can claim they love you and they do this to you. Even the way he broke up was over text and didnt even apologized or thanked me for all the things i did for him

This definitely helps me feel a bit better. I’ve been blocked for almost a month now.. I did beg and plead with her even after she asked me not to make her block me, so it’s definitely my fault. I just wish I could reconnect with her and rebuild from the beginning. We were together a little over 9 years.. the breakup has been 1.5 months now

where was this video 5 months ago? I pleaded so bad that he blocked me everywhere and all the coaches on youtube told me to do no contact but I wouldnt listen cause they didnt explain WHY it is essential. Now i'm in no contact for 2 months and although I find myself still hoping I actually know that I ruined everything. Rory, I’m not entirely sure if you’ve made a video regarding this specific topic, but I’m a little confused as to why my ex has blocked me like a year and a half after the breakup. She had already deleted me as a friend right after the breakup, so I don’t understand why she blocked me. I don’t think this requires an entire video, but I do respect your knowledge when it comes to breakups, so I wanted to see what you had to say.

Ffs - I thought I had my emotions checked. Broke up with my ex 9 days ago. Or she gave me the boot. Was going pretty well actually until just now that I accidentally noticed her new FB profile pic. Was browsing my own FB and just guess if there was a photo where my ex had tagged me into. She had tagged me couple of months ago but yeah saw the pic and noticed her new profile. Damn she looked good. That cut deep at least at this moment.
As a sidenote. Removed her already couple of days ago from my FB friend as removed her number as I don't want to accidentally "bump" into her like I now did. Never ever cyber stalk your ex. Bad mistake, I can confirm as I have no interest knowing what she does and it help you to move on. Seeing her pic was a temporary setback.

Five & half year relationships living together ended she asked me to be friend I said no. Sorry don’t want to be your friend & if you don’t want to talk that’s fine too. Three week of minimum no contact because I was living with her. All apartments were booked up so had to wait. She yelled at me & told me to get the fck out for no reason randomly. Called a friend & moved an hour away. Left a note saying take care of your self with her house keys. Started no contact & left her alone. Month later she blocked me on face book randomly. I am not very active on Facebook at all & don’t use it a lots. Been 35 days no contact not a text or call from her.

Being Block is a damn good thing! As long as you're not needy or being an a-hole. My ex blocked me out of anger because I didn't agree to friend zone, after being together for 5 years. Now the ball in her court...So if she reaches out to me that's a good possibility that she wants to work on getting back together because I was blocked for not agreeing to friend zone, or maybe she won't reach out to me which is also fine, because she took away that little voice in your head telling you 60 days or 70 passed maybe you should say hi or something... oh wait, you can't, you're still blocked lol. I recently ‘matched’ my ex on Tinder. I was unsure whether to swipe right or not, but I did because I wanted to see if he did to and he kept showing up on my feed. Yes same thing happened to me it’s all for reaction but they get strength and power from you. My ex left me but wouldn’t leave me alone when I asked her to. I would of did anything at the time to be given a chance but she just strung me along for sex, attention, power. And it set my healing back believing I was getting somewhere. Finally I blocked her on everything deleted all social media and 4 months of NC I feel so much better. It’s the most important thing you can do for YOU. And this is what matters. Stay strong

What if your ex told you that you could still talk to them and that it was okay if you messaged them each day and then they suddenly blocked you and told you that you annoy them? Like my ex told me it was fine if I still talked to him, I'd tell him "I'm sorry if I message you too much" and he said "no it's fine" then he suddenly blocked me and when I reached out after he blocked me, he told me I annoyed him. 🙄 yet all the conversations I had with him were all normal friendly conversations. But I've left him alone and haven't reached out since then and its been over a month and I believe I'm still blocked.

Even when I was In The relationship with this clown he had me blocked on everything. And for no reason sometimes too. Women these days anytime you disagree with them they block you because they’re opinion or thought process is the only thing that matters to them. They will eventually unblock you when they get off their high horse. But it’s a very unhealthy thing to deal with. It’s mentally draining.

This happened to me after 5 months, we met up for a drink after she reached out for my birthday, I stuck to Rory’s advice and only talked about positive things and how my life was going well. We had a good time, she didn’t give me any signs of wanting to try again though so I didn’t make a move and we said goodbye. Not long after the date I found out she unfollowed me and removed me from her followers. For no reason as I wasn’t contacting her.... but then proceeded to change her account to public and back to private again and again for about a week.... weird, but at least now I can’t stalk her anymore !

Maybe you've posted smth that annoyed her like going out w friends being positive and happy or kept liking other girls posts

SJ Well i unfollowed my bf after months too cause i kept stalking him on social media and that hurt me alot and honestly i got tired of it. and that helped me control my anger issues and finally find peace and focus on myself.
Its been 9 weeks. Unblocked then blocked again. Hurts like all hell. Its not nice.
It’s been about 3 weeks since my ex-fiancé of 4 years broke up with me. I was sad at first, but then then it turned into anger. There was something and I read her messages. I found out that she was talking to another guy. But... it’s weird. The messages I read stated that he had feelings for her, but... she never said anything back. Now, this guy, has.. no job, no car, a DWI on his record, lives with him mom in a trailer, and has a 5 year old son. She’s know him maybe 2 months now. Reason how they met is through a mutual friend. He knows people who sold marijuana, he was the middle man. I on the other hand have a job car etc and has treated her well and helped get her through school. The last message I read, was “ He looked through my messages and saw that we were taking about if we had feelings for each other.” She would often go and smoke and hang out with this guy weeks before she broke up with me. I automatically assumed that she slept with him and that she had feelings for him but I don’t know. Either way, I jumped the gun and told all of her family and friends that she left me and was talking to another guy. I confronted her about it a couple days after the break up because I had to get my stuff out. We lived together. She said that she has no feelings towards him and doesn’t look at him that way. That he’s trash. She said that he lives with his mom and doesn’t even have a door, it’s a blanket or something. She said that he’s beneath her. She just wanted to invest in someone else and help him... right. She told me to look at her in the eyes and said, “ I did not cheat on you during the space thing.” She also said that she wouldn’t date any of her close guy friends because that would be a slap in the for towards me. The first day I came to get my stuff she had made comments like it sucks that I have to go through this and put my stuff in plastic bags or trash bags rather. She also said I’m not going to give you any false hope but maybe in like two years or something we can see where were at. She had made several comments like that that didn’t make sense because she wanted the break up. Either way, I jumped the gun and told all of her family and friends that she was talking to another guy. Including her best friend who is a guy. He told her and she said, “that’s more of a reason why I broke up with him. It’s confusing because if she did have feelings for him and is now dating him, wasn’t I right? I knew that when I sent those messages to her family members that it would seal everything off. Now I’m having second thoughts. Once I found out about that I sent her a final that said, “ Don’t worry about paying me back, use that money to invest in someone else instead. Have a good life.” I’ve been in no contact since then. A couple weeks now. I have been going to the gym and working on my self though. Blocked her on everything. Have I totally screwed my chances to get her back? I know some will say, she left you for someone else move on etc, but the thing is idk for sure if she was really into him. I only assumed.
I would unblock, but don't follow. If you want her back, keep lines of communication open. I'm in a similar situation, 4 years was engaged, ended 2 months ago and got blocked on everything, i think because she was hurt by the breakup too. She kept playing xbox with another guy from her part time job, so i got tired of it, and distanced myself from her. She broke it off then blocked me. I feel like our situations are the Grass Is Greener syndrome. She thinks there is something better out there, but there might not be. She may never get another connection like you/I again. Just have faith in yourself that you can move forward, with or without her. Either way, you will win the break up.
Witch Hut I thought about unblocking her but she does have my email if she REALLY wants to get a hold of me and know some of my friends too that she can get a hold of. She supposedly broke down at work a couple of days after we got some “space” from each other and her boss was concerned and asked her if we lived together and she said no not right now. He offered to bring Mormons to the house to help her out. Hell I even helped her clean the house before they came through so idk what game she was playing at. It’s like she wanted me close but not in that way. She said that she felt less stressed that I wasn’t there because she didn’t have to worry about me and how I felt. Idk what would be GIGS because the guy has no drivers license because he has a DWI on his record, lives with his mom in a trailer, has no job, and has a 5 year old son. So... idk. Maybe it’s a power trip for her to be in control? Or... she just needs a distraction/project? It’s confusing. But I think I pretty sealed the deal when I send her family and friend messages about her taking to another guy. Which... it’s true. She was. So.. she can get mad at me, but the fact still remains that they were talking about possibly having feelings for each other. Which is not right and considered cheating while we’re still together. Plain and simple.

Did exactly what you said, she broke up with me, tried a bit during the break up then went no contact as I just want her to get some space rather than me & be rspectful of the breakup. Went to the gym (She works there & we met there) she wasn't there but got this crazy message saying you're going to see me no other reason as you can go to any other gym (I get this gym free through my work) I respectfully reply & she tries to make out like I'm harrasing her, she contacted me twice, not me! Now she's blocked me, just can't help but laugh, you know the funniest thing, I'm already dating someone else. Completely lost lol. Just wanted to throw my story in to say that sometimes all of this has no logic still We were looking at engagement rings 4 weeks ago, now this, it wasn't like anything suddenly happened either, she went MIA & when we finally spoke this is what happened.
My ex blocked me on all social media bc I kept trying to talk to her. About 3 weeks ago she suddenly unblocked me on all sites but when I initiated conversation she just bluntly told me to stop and that she has a new boy friend now. I has been in no contact since then. My ex broke up with me about 3 months ago. So why did she went through all the trouble of unblocking me if she clearly doesn't want me to contact her? Also is she moving on forever, for real now?

Hi dude , my ex and I dated for a year but I broke up with her because so of the same problems kept happening over and over and she wouldn’t communicate and seemed like she only wanted attention from anyone , we kinda had a messy break up and we both said unkind. Soon after she slept with someone else and now she talking to someone new . She also starting her 1 year of college. I just wanted to know if it’s possible for a someone to come back and at least show they cared when they’re living the college life style. I cared for her deeply and this is the first time I have ever said bad things .

Trust me guys, they don't deserve you. I've had six months of hell and six months before my break up of trying to fix a relationship on my own. If they don't see you as worthy- stuff them. And I'm saying this from a point of view of loving my ex still but if they really loved you, you wouldn't have to do all this. It would be natural. It's their loss,
I told them on purpose to block me so it would make it easier to one , move on and two make nc work in my favor . I want them back but it’s peace of mind to know I’m blocked so I don’t bug them
Rory, what does it mean that she deleted me from her IG page then she uploaded 15 new pics. She is in a new relationship. We were together for 2 1/2 yrs and never posted any pics of us. I feel like she was just using me or didn't want anyone know she was in a relationship so if a better guy came along she could move on easier. Am I just being crazy or letting the head games get to me? Does she just not want me to see that she is posting things with her new relationship? Does this mean I have no chance of getting her back? Lindsay Espinoza freaking same. She blocked me on literally everything which was fine because it was the push I needed to rid myself of social media as a whole. We were together for almost 5 years and engaged for about a year. I miss her like crazy but I’m staying patient.

Siegfried just focus on yourself man. Hit the gym, journal, hang with friends, TALK about your break up and feelings, and just try not to think about it. It gets easier, trust me. I would have never thought I’d be at the point I am now after the break up, but you learn to adapt to the change. So take this opportunity to be your best self and if and when she comes back, you will be totally different and even more of a catch. And remember, she dated you for a reason so she isn’t out of your league. She has her own issues just like everyone else.

I did panic and went to her place lmao thankfully I didn't do much I just dropped her shit off at her mail box and they have a camera so I just said my peace calmly and left. She blocked me after seeing me become successful after 1 month of the break up
