    Rabbits, ducks and geese but the most interesting to me are your American Bresse. Hopefully you will put together a great flock which can continue on to other farms.

      We are going to do a comparison between the Cornish X vs the American Bresse to see if the meat to feed ratio is even worth it for homesteaders to raise the American Bresse. I feel they are since they are more sustainable and do not require a lot of feed. They may take longer but If you can raise them all year without the high mortality rate of the Cornish it should be well worth it.

    Might sound bad, but I rarely change my animals' water. It's easy to treat animals like they're humans and give them human characteristics, but I swear that they crap in their water on purpose (goats and chickens), and I bet they have a reason why they do it.

      Yea, the mrs likes to change out their water every day. I am for changing out their water but not everyday. Three days is when i will change it out to prevent algae from forming
