One of the best Zanzibar videos I have ever seen. Coming from a Zanzibari who watches a lot of Zanzibar videos because she misses home. Loved how you interacted with my people especially playing with the kids 🥹
same here i was was watching and is far the best zanzibar vlog that i have seen so far. and i watched a lot 😅 we travel to zanzibar every 2 years to visit family there.
As my dream is to one day visit Tanzania, I want to say this is one of the best I've seen. Your material is original and what I call down to earth. I personally would have purchased some of that soap too. but seeing these happy kids, is one of the highlights that i love to see! BE blessed in your travels with much laughter, insight and experience!
Wow, thank you! We had an amazing time in Zanzibar, we really encourage anyone to go visit it on a more authentic level. Hope you'll get the chance to do so ! It's a pleasure to read such a positive comment, it really does encourage us. Thank you again !
We're definitely travelling on a budget, and you're right we could do a better job of sharing the prices directly in the video. On this blogpost you'll find the prices of all our accommodations across Tanzania : lisaandpol.com/posts/honest-review-of-accommodations-we-tried-all-over-tanzania A lot of information about prices, itineraries and daily life is available on our highlight "Zanzibar" on our instagram @lisaandpol. Here is a few extra prices : Scooter rental 48h + driving permit + petrol : 35$ Average accommodation for 2 people per night : 20$ Food for 2 people per day : approx 20$ (1 restaurant/day and then street food or groceries) Overall, our average daily spending is 38$/day/person for our 10-month journey in Africa, and Zanzibar was within that range. Hope this helps :)
Hey, we did not because we were spending more than 6 months in the zone with mosquitos, so we didn't take any pill. We had with us though some Malarone to take as treatment. Pol ended up having Malaria a few months later in Namibia, but it was treated very nicely so it was no big deal.

Hi did you take Malaria prevention pills when going to Zanzibar?

@@LisaAndPol Okay, thanks for the feedback 🙏
