Thank you for this excellent tutorial and for all your hard work in developing Gaphor. I've used Papyrus before, and Gaphor seems much easier to get to grips with.

This is excelent and wonderful, you are a great explainer and a breeze to follow. Thanks again, this has been helpful in many ways to my personal work.

If I want to create different activity diagrams for different use cases, it always creates a new activity for that diagram. How can I add an activity diagram on the same level as the pregenerated one? Or do I create a different use case diagram for every use case? I thought I put every use case in the "use cases" diagram and based on that create different activity diagrams for the use cases, right? Because I can´t place the new activity diagrams into the model view if it is created under a new activity.

you are a saver. I have been trying to combine model based system engineering tools and develops tools. Typical MBSE software doesn't have a good remote syncing process or syncing features for other members. Additional feature such as storing files on git is unusual able without paying for extra plugins or subscription.

I am surprised there was any confusion about ERD

Thank you for this excellent tutorial.
Apparently, you used "item flow" to connect the parts in the ibd. Why not the connectors ? Do the "port" exist in Gaphor ?

Is a STPA video example in the works please? I am familiar with STPA but interested in the workflow achieavable in this tool. Is the model conformant with J3187_202202? I guess it cannot be conformant with SAE J 3307 yet. AND/OR tables coming? Responsibilities? Did you leverage off ISSN: 0148-7191?

Is there any Atlassian/Jira integration planned or already written?

      No, not currently

@@DanYeaw Is it even possible to use the python language itself in safer way that gets very close to the standards used in safety critical software? And if that is possible what does the development workflow look like and what tools do you need to use together to achieve this?
I'm mainly skeptical because I've seen type system experts make jokes on how incomplete and unsound python's type system is so I do not know what to believe.
I'm thinking of learning either Rust or Ada since subsets of the languages are actually used in safety critical scenarios.
But I might stick to Python if there are proven workflows and tools that can make Python safe to that degree.
      Thank you!

Does Gaphor have the capability for parametric diagrams? Since there are four pillars to SysML.

It does not currently support Parametric diagrams, but if that is important to you, we would be glad for more contributions

OMG, what is up with system engineer and coffee machines? It was the same thing in my modelling class. Up until I graduate I'm going to be a fucking expert in coffee machines. I will certainly either end up working for a coffee machine manufacturer or start one myself, I swear to god.
