Would you recommend this to someone who uses the spectra blue pump? I’m currently borrowing an Elvie og and LOVE it but want my own willing to invest a couple hundred but not $500😳 of the Elvie
I absolutely love this pump I just got it! So far it’s holding up for the $50 I paid with coupons on Amazon! It’s comfy and seems to give me the same output as my lansinoh discreet duo
I ordered this off Amazon when it first appeared. Agree it is a decent affordable option. I appreciated that a nice case came with the pump at this price point and that Bluetooth recognizes the pumps very quickly. It felt a bit sketchy downloading the app but using it was straightforward. This is more so my personal preference and nothing to do with the pump itself, but i didn't like cleaning the collection bottles due to the small opening. I could only clean it with the included brush but still felt like i didn't wash the corners well enough. I also kept accidentally pressing the buttons when placing it in the bra and when holding my baby.
So I have a Momcozy s12, however I feel like I am getting very overwhelmed with the device itself. I believe that it’s very bulky and it takes me roughly 45 minutes or greater to get a good output. I have a lansinoh for my primary and I need to find a discreet but effective secondary pump for work. I was interested in getting the horigen wearable pump.
Hi Jessica! Great content as always! Is the noise comparable to a Zomee Fit or a Mommed S21? And what’s the insert situation? Will it work with lactation hub inserts?
I have the spectra sg portable, and I’ve never heard that it’s unique and could cause some difficulty adjusting to a wearable. I am needing a new wearable as the lansinoh one is too short for my elastic nipples, they hit the diaphragm. Do you think this would be a good option for elastic nipples?
The tunnel length is actually about the same- for this situation before buying a new pump I would book a flange fitting at www.genuinelactation.com/consultations to assure we don’t have a fit for you that will open doors for more options for you!
I ordered this pump, but now I’m realizing that all the places to buy replacement valves are out of stock. Are any other brands compatible for valves?? I exclusively pump so I have to replace my pump parts often.
@@genuinelactationthere’s no way through Amazon, and the Horigen website has a contact us link but it says “page not found”. I guess we’ll just have to see how it holds up to frequent use 🤞
Would this work well for someone who responds well to the pumpables genie advanced? I've tried a lot of mobile pumps and just can't find one I like. But I'm a nurse so I need a mobile option
It would likely be a decent pairing. If you want to be more confident you can always book with me and we can see why what you have tried hasn't been a shining success before you add another pump that isn't right to the collection :)
Oh man, lol my mind was made up to buy the zomee fit, but now this video is making me questioning life. I dont care about the app, I care about price, quality and replacement parts assesibility. I also respond better to silicone than hard plastic flanges. I was going to use legendairy milk inserts with the zomee. Do you think I should consider the Horigen instead? I was planning to use Pumpables GA as my primary, and Zomee Fit as secondary.
@@genuinelactation Thank you!! Your videos reviewing the science behind the pumps really help me. I wish I had found your videos 2 years ago when I had my first baby. I appreciate you!

Do you know of any current coupon codes? How did you find such a great deal?
I'm interested in this pump but definitely don't *need* another.

It's the same collection bottle as the Zomee Fit and that is a common complaint!

Quieter than mommed s21. Almost identical to zomee fit. Its likely the same motor setup in a slightly different body.

Which Medela pump?

Not that I am aware of- email the company!

I would love to see a deep dive video comparing both.
Once horigen has been in use for a few solid months I can do a more in depth comparison!

Would you say this is stronger suction than the zomee fit?
Its close on the gauge but feels a tad stronger to me in actual use. But its extremely close.
@@genuinelactation thank you!!
Hows this handle heavy letdowns?
Its a smaller duckbill like most wearables so super heavy letdowns that struggle with other pumps may have trouble here but most will be fine
