no, the #6241 is correct model to order to fit on burgman... the two different size showing on the grips because the throttle side have plastic over the handle bar and left side doesn't have that
Woohooo! Thanks for this video. Ordered grips 2 days ago. They got here today. Took me a bit longer than the video to put them on, but they look awesome. Big ABATE ride tomorrow. Just in time.
Just got my hand grips today! Let's hope everything goes as soothly as yours did ha! I don't have all those fancy tools you have. I wonder if an exacto knife will do the trick for all of that. We shall see! Thanks Mitch!!
Hey Mitch! Do you still use these grips? Did you add any weights or the throttle boss? Just curious. They would look nice on my 650. Thanks for the video!

You really shouldn't put adhesive on the handlebar ends. You should only put it inside the new grip. When you put it on the handlebar, the adhesive will be pushed out of the grip as you slide it on causing a mess. When you put it in the grip, the adhesive stays where it's supposed to be. If you really feel you must put adhesive on the handlebar, only put it near the end because it will then spread along the handlebar as you slide on the grip. The way it was done here is incorrect. He put glue all the way up to the controls. That glue will just be pushed out causing a mess. He may get lucky and not cause much of a mess but why even chance it. When you put it in the grip itself, it will automatically spread along the inside of the grip with no possibility of being squeezed out of the control side as you slide it on. This is a basic principle when gluing things that, for example, any woodworker would know.

the grip is not moving at all on throttle side... so don't really need glue, yes burgman 650 and 400 are the same and model number yes :)
