Smaller wire makes more voltage or dielectric field and bigger wires make more amperage or magnetic field. Coils in resonance come close to superconducting.
If a bifilar works i would try a quadfilar and wire the two in series all same direction. As far as wire gauge goes, and i have a limited understanding, but you use smaller gauge where you need volts and larger gauge where you need amps. Amps = magnetic field. Volts = dielectric or static field.

Yep it will work , Bifilar design also works. CW and CCW does not Produce.
