In the video, we didn't use extra flux, but it's still important depending on what you're soldering. Even though the solder we used had a flux core, sometimes adding more flux can be really helpful. It cleans the metal surfaces, removes oxidation, and helps the solder flow better, making for a stronger and more reliable connection. So yeah, even though the solder has flux, adding a bit more can make a big difference, especially with tricky joints.
