Thats the thing. This world should be our better place. He lives his life happy because he valued life and nature, and lived as a man who realized all those truths, that one must live with nature, not against nature, as pretty much most of the world - atleast the western world - does.
I myself do not believe that there is such a thing as "heaven" as you might mean with better place, which doesnt mean that i dont believe in afterlife, actually i believe life never ends. He is with us. On both a spiritual and a physical level. His body will degrade eventually, and so his body will become good soil for new plants which will eventually be made up by him. Or rather what his physical body was before. And his spirit is With us. With I. For Jah is with I.
