hellooo everyone!! I made a video very similar to this about 3 years ago that still gets some views & questions, so I figured it was time for an updated version! the university of tennessee is such a special place to me and I'm so thankful for the time I have had here. hopefully this video helps out some potential new students! thanks for watching and go vols :)

The Strip used to be the 18+ crowd and Old City was where we all went once everyone was 21+...it's crazy how much UT has changed in just 10 years. Best of luck in your next adventures and GO VOLS

try to have your roommate picked out when you select housing so you can make sure you end up in the same room!

so ik tennessee says the housing process is a lottery system but does committing earlier increase your chances of getting a better dorm?

I think it’s completely random, but if you want a specific dorm consider an llc! it usually doesn’t take a lot of commitment so even if you aren’t interested in the llc at least you still have a good dorm

From what I’ve heard the parking is awful. They sell more permits than there are spaces and they don’t seem to be able to expand parking fast enough for the growing student body. I think that’s very common among most universities, however, and the campus is very walkable, so if you’re on campus or nearby I don’t think it’s a problem.

I got in with a 3.6 unweighted so I say yes. Their acceptance rate has gone down so do some research on that but I believe in you
