Family Vacation to Paradisus Rio de Oro in Holguin Cuba - Nov 2022

We are returning to Cuba in November 2022, this time with the family :). We decided to stay in Holguin a 5-star adult only resort - Paradisus Rio de Oro, which we visited before. It has a great area where one can snorkeling easily and the resort in general is very nice.

Hiking to the caves. Horse and buggy tours. Swimming in natural pools. Explore Guardalavaca. Trip to Holguin the city.

I hear big seaweed issue everywhere v from warm ocean everywhere this year..windy not a bad thing if it's hot ..looks relaxing little too boring to be honest

This resort is more on a quiet side comparing to others, especially Varadero resorts. But it is perfect for people who want boring, quiet and relaxing vacation :)

Would you say this resort is too large for someone with mobility issues? I have arthritis in my hip but walk with a cane. It seems like the rooms were far from the beach, restaurants etc.

Most resorts are large and you tend to have to walk a bit to the beach…😢 perhaps you can request a room closer to the beach and/or restaurant.
