please do not confuse by adding the segments. you can do it simply by taking as segment 1, segment 2 and segment 3. that is universally accepted easy process.
You are calculating individual 150,70,80mm section and he is adding them successively that's why he is getting different forces Answers are same by both method " he is not wrong" you don't know this method😐
the length that u have taken is wrong they would be the length of that particular section for the alongation of that section and then we add the all alongation to find out the final alongation...
I was so confused with the method I was using, I opened your video and solved for the RS Khurmi exersise 2.2, in the 2nd question I was getting the error of only 0.1mm but in the 3rd one the error was 0.2, it is not bearable I guess so I checked for other methods and found a method which gave me the closer answer, I am not saying the method is wrong but I don't know either that which method is more accurate. Still thanks sir.
