Great question! :) You wouldn't want to sell something on a blog post typically (aside from linking out to affiliate products), as this can really mess up link juice and pillar page site structure. Instead, if your website is selling products and services then link the blog post to a product/sales page as this will pass along link juice. Now, if you are selling affiliate products, a blog is a great way to do this, and we would recommend targeting "informational" type keywords as the blogs will perform better doing so.
