Do you recommend velvet yarn for amigurumi?

Yes velvet yarn for amigurumi is totally fine, the texture of the yarn makes the plushie more beautiful and softer :D but if you are beginner it will be hard to see stitches and it’s quite shredding while crocheting and slippery so it hard for you to control the tension
