In same boat, I tested the Street Glide Special and it felt natural with the forwards. I've heard the Road Glide feels a little different, don't know. Thoughts anyone?
If it’s going to be the only bike, I’d definitely go touring. Unless it’s gonna be in the city most of the time. If out of the core and do trips, touring is the way to go! Ultra if you can swing it! That’s what I’d do for real.
They are different but just ever so slightly I think. Like I said, do Ultra, once you get the convenience of it, that’s the bike to have, unless you don’t go on trips. But since you’re looking at Road and Street Glides, I’m guessing you do.

Nice ride, how is that forward control? I think the lean angle is pretty good for what it is.
I sort of gotten used to it by the second ride, I still prefer mids though, feel more in control for the twisties. You ride forwards?
