The major issue with nightlife is Vegas is the same issue everywhere in the US for the young urban crowd. Very difficult to find a primarily hip-hop oriented venue for cheap. Most bars/lounges aren't going to consistently play the type of music that gets people lit. Clubs know this and can tax the hell out of people. You used to be able to get a GA ticket and dance at the spots on the strip. Now, they've filled the dance floors with VIP tables. It's a complete scam. There's a few places in Downtown Vegas that are decent, tho. The main thing is to go with people that have the same experiences and expectations on nightlife as you. If you're going with a girlfriend that usually finds her way in VIP when she goes out with her girls, then it's probably best to not even make a serious attempt at nightlife unless you want to spend big. You have to set expectations and there's a good chance that the nightlife experience is going to be not as fruitful as it would be in your hometown. You may have to settle for a "boring" lounge.
If you aren't staying too far down the strip take the public bus which is $2 but it doesn't go all the way down the strip. The Duse bus is $20 for a 3 day pass. Ocean One in the Mircle Miles shop has cheap breakfest for $5 and you get a lot and lunch before 5 is also $5.
Your on FIRE! Your videos just keep getting better. My grandpa is in VEGAS so much he should just live there. He don't sleep much so he likes staying at MGM hotels on the strip. Video poker is his favorite game. He say's he is so lucky and good that the machines are like having his own personal ATM machine (LOL). All I know is he don't have to pay for rooms. They are always comp nights. He tells me he buy's MGM stock when he get's a royal flush or four of a kind. Peace!
Good and helpful tips. Inexpensive food and lodging are everywhere if you know where to go. It's really gambling that costs money 😆😅😁 So plan wisely. I fully agree with you !

Lee's Discount is an excellent place to buy alcohol. It really is discounted. closest one to the strip is on the BLVD., close to the Southpoint (Between Mandalay and the Southpoint).

MLife Rewards from myVegas are the way to go! My sister and I have eaten at some of the best MGM restaurants for $25 or less in BOGO deals. Play during your lunch, while you wait in a waiting room, lying in bed, watching tv. Its mindless spins and quite fun!
Normally when i get there...i'll stop off at Total Wine and More next to the outlet malls to get my alcohol, and drive down to Albertsons off of blue diamond road to buy the stuff i need otherwise. I'll never spend money at any of those stores on the strip.
Does Valentine’s Day count as a major holiday referring to clubs/ bars etc? Our room is already booked during valentines weekend cause that’s my 30th bday so I’m hoping we can still get in to some night life things without going in debt 😂
An 2024 update for off-peak season: Formula 1 is going to be the weekend before Thanksgiving through at least 2025. I'd be careful planning a trip around November unless you've got some comps saved up, but even then it might be difficult.

If you want to know where the cheap ATMs are on the strip....they are at the top floor of the M&M store and inside of Casino Royale. ATM fees are $4
