The first time I read Lost Scrolls of Jewish Wealth, I couldn’t believe how much I had been overlooking. It’s one of those books that stays with you and makes you rethink everything.

Good to hear what Mark Bristow has to say. Barrick has invested with a longer term view but investors like to look short term.

Barrick shares are lower than 5 years ago as the gold price has doubled. Horrendous investment on any timeframe. The good gold/copper companies have killed it.

This is about people who are used stealing, and now intellectually trying to steal again.

Barrick gold was $48 in 2011, today it is $15 meanwhile the price of gold has tripled. Talk about horrible management.

Mark took over in 2018, after he sold his very successful company Randgold Resources to Barrick which he built to a multi-billlion dollar company. Hardly to blame for what happened in 2011-2018

The only thing open and honest about Mali is they openly and honestly helicoptered out tons of gold...

I agree, he is lying about what Barrick did in Mali. Furthermore, the new Mali government has been clear. They want to be paid in Gold. They are not interested in another country's fiat currency that would leave them vulnerable to being cancelled. I don't blame Mali at all. The Barrick mine in Mali should be transferred to a mining company that is willing to pay in gold which is actually the cheapest form of payment for a Gold miner. Barrick is playing geopolitics games while trying to act the victim. They better be careful or Mali is going to cancel them and give their mine to another for pennies.

Mali government doesn't want to be treated like Barrick shareholders. This guy is badly out of touch and needs to resign in favor of a more capable guy.

My question today is that: collecting Gold is easy than producting. Do you think that malien Goverment is able to produce gold? If Barick leave their company and go, what will be the next? ❤

I'd walk away from Mali. You can't have an open an honest conversation with a violent dictatorship like Mali. Cut your losses and leave.

Yes I agree, walk away if you can just take it for free. Historically they come, and took it, why pay now? After all these people are sub-hoomaaannnn

Yes but every canadian mining company is obediently leaving their asset to gangsters just like that.a few years ago kirgistan confiscated 400k ounze a year the Kumtor mine from Caterra, canadian company and no big deal.Canada being mining country should put some pressure on rouge goverments to stop it.
