The Strangest Trading Card Set: Monsters From Outer Limits

The classic sci-fi anthology The Outer Limits got a trading card set in 1964. The only problem? The cards couldn't use any of the story material for legal reasons. The solution? Have the guy that wrote the Mars Attacks! cards create new stories based on the monsters!

the story you gave about 'Bubbles Inc.' is not correct, the subsidiary was set up sometime in the 1950s, as Elvis cards and the first "laugh yourself to death" sci-fi/horror themed comedy cards from 1958 and 1959 respectively had the 'Bubbles Inc.' name on the backs, and then the Mars Attacks set also used the 'Bubbles Inc.' name on the back
