I remember watching you both a while back and you had showed linen from Cedar River Linens, so after you’ll went on and on about it I ordered. I must admit I did a happy dance loved how it was presented and then I opened the box. Oh my goodness how nice and beautiful the linen was! Even a little thank you note too. Once again a great video. You two are so inspiring. I also love Roxy Floss Co fibers and their 8 yard lengths. I also love the fibers from Colour and Cotton, they are also 8 yards and the best part, Colour and Cotton is my LNS! They are both my go to floss if I can do a good conversion.

I have one of those Blackbird tins from a workshop with Jane Timmers years ago! We lined the tin with BB fabric and she designed a little sampler that became a needle book (plus a couple of other small pieces). It makes me smile every time I see it on my shelf.😊 Enjoyed the video -as usual!

It wasn't hard to do but you two have totally corrupted me--I no longer faff about with quarter yards but buy half yards of fabric on an all-too-regular basis. It's nice to know I'm not alone.
I was amused by the cold hotel room conversation. Lived in Illinois before moving to South Carolina. Now we're acclimated to the heat and keep the air at 78 during the day, 76 at night. But when we moved here that was roasting. Once we saw our electric bill we decided we better adjust. LOL

My Son, Daughter-in-Law, and grandson go to Arizona Wilderness at least once a week. I think at last count my son has been there over 700 times. I don't go as often but agree they have the best hamburger in the Valley. I love hearing you talk about something close to me. I hope next time you're at the Attic I can see you there.

I have one of those Blackbird tins from a workshop with Jane Timmers years ago! We lined the tin with BB fabric and she designed a little sampler that became a needle book (plus a couple of other small pieces). It makes me smile every time I see it on my shelf.😊 Enjoyed the video -as usual!

It wasn't hard to do but you two have totally corrupted me--I no longer faff about with quarter yards but buy half yards of fabric on an all-too-regular basis. It's nice to know I'm not alone.

I was amused by the cold hotel room conversation. Lived in Illinois before moving to South Carolina. Now we're acclimated to the heat and keep the air at 78 during the day, 76 at night. But when we moved here that was roasting. Once we saw our electric bill we decided we better adjust. LOL
YIKES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That sounds like a very difficult transition. I wonder if I would opt for less stash and more cooling??

Watching this late. I love your descriptions of your trip to the Attic. So happy you spent quality time there with Jean. The hamburgers sound fantastic. I couldn’t sign up for The Attic’s Summer School because I was moving my daughter in Boston and had no service but hopefully someday. I’m sure I will comment again but I usually wait and forget what I wanted to say so here you go lol 😂

I am so jealous that you were able to get so much Lakeside linen. I have been trying to get some and even when I think I have bought it, it ends up on back order. How wonderful you found so many colors.
Wasn't Brenda lucky!!!!! Have you tried Lynn's of Madison? or Acorns and Threads? They often have Lakeside.
My Son, Daughter-in-Law, and grandson go to Arizona Wilderness at least once a week. I think at last count my son has been there over 700 times. I don't go as often but agree they have the best hamburger in the Valley. I love hearing you talk about something close to me. I hope next time you're at the Attic I can see you there.
