I ordered an Iphone 13 through online and I asked for the serial number before they have to ship it. I checked it in website mentioned. And it says Iphone 13 but the coverage information can't be displayed cause the device needs to be activated first. I guess this means that my phone is legit brandnew right? haven't received it though. Your videos are really helpful I've learned a lot.

Near release date, they will be expensive. I find December the best time to buy as prices fall below SRP by that time.

I have the same question. I just bought a brand new Iphone 13 for my wife's birthday next month for a good price in a sealed box that has not been opened yet. I typed in the serial number of the phone and I recieve a notification saying "We are unable to display warranty information because your device has not been registered. Contact your Apple retailer or your mobile operator to register this device."

Per Marion's video, that is an indication that the phone hasn't been opened/registered. If you will also go and check the Apple coverage check, there should be no green check in the Valid purchase date for it to be considered new.
If they really wanted to scam they can fake the serial number too

I was about to fall for a scam so if the valid purchase is checked and shows
Estimated Expiration Date: February 18, 2023 that means the phone was opened on

Hello po sir. I recently purchased IP15 from a seller. HK variant. Na noticed ko na Sept. 25 2023 yung coverage nung phone. Pero kakabili ko lang this October 2023. Actually sealed pa po ako pa mismo nag tanggal nung tab sa box. Sabi po ni seller inopen lang daw noong Sept yung phone doon sa "factory" bago nila nakuha. Should I be worried po ba?

I’ve talked to another person with the same issue. This is very sketchy. I have a HK variant, and di siya nakapre-activate.

@@nona6083 Thank you for bringing this up. Posted this issue on my social channels and nagreply si Mary, so she’s aware. Next time, I recommend requesting serial numbers to check sa Apple website. And the store I prefer is Mobilizer, i trust them 100%.
