I have some of that chainmail fabric in my stash, in two different sizes but in a coppery-brass tone. I wish I had silver, tho. You don't need to cut it, by the way; if you're delicate, you can carefully lift the prongs on the "button" parts to separate the pieces. I used a bit to make a chainmail bikini top (with lining) for a belly dancer doll I'm working on. She turned out beautiful! You have a wonderful sense of fashion design and an eye for details.
I cut it because it was faster and less time-consuming, but I didn't open the connection when I was attaching things to the material! I was able to find it in large amounts, so I still have a whole piece of silver and purple. It's such a fun material to play with! I'm excited to see what else I can make with it! 😁 And thank you for your kind words!! 😊
Beautiful doll and really love the armor elements, The face up ties it all together wonderfully and the mask looks really delicate. Quilo could be a nice name, comes from Roman mythology meaing North wind.
This definitely has to be one of my favorite designs! I absolutely love the little details of her outfits and her mask, it looks stunning! You are so talented it’s so inspiring :) For names I came up with Lumi or Kirsi, both are finnish and mean frost and snow or Elva, which is irish and it means ”white”, Haukea which is hawaiian and means ”white snow”. Im so excited to see what you do next, have a great day❤️
She's lovely! I love the chainmail elements on her outfit, and you really went above and beyond making her mask three-dimensional when you could have left it with the original paint job. As far as her name, Eirwen is a Welsh name that means something along the lines of "blessed snow." Or it could be shortened to Eira, which just means "snow."
Thank you! I always wanted her mask to be 3D I just didn't know how I was gonna do that, then I got the idea of cutting small plastic pieces. Ooo I really love than name!!! Very unique and beautiful!! I'll keep it in mind!!

Could you please tell me the name of the pattern maker? I would love to make this also. Thank you.
Most of the patterns I use come from Raddollclothes/Requiemartdolls. But sometimes, I make my own patterns.
