Hearing that you really liked Tower of Dawn makes me really happy! I have yet to read or buy it, since I'm on a book buying ban, but I'm now not so hesitant to read it!!
I am so glad you liked Tower of Dawn! Chaol was one of my favourites and I was so let down by how his actions and choices, but this book just stole my heart! The southern continent also stole my heart. I loved every single thing about this book and there wasn't a single page that I did not enjoy (which is a feat since there were a lot of them). I always have and always will love Chaol and I cannot wait for the final book.
I actually loved Tower of Dawn a lot more than EoS. It's a pity people aren't picking it up because it's Chaol centric. It was fantastic, the characters, the world building, the tension and relationships were beautifully written
I was SO reluctant to reading TOD but I'll be damned if it didn't leave me impressed and thoroughly satisfied! Also queen of shadows is my favourite TOG book for sure!
Yay! I'm so glad you liked Tower of Dawn so much! I need to get back into that series. You're so right about Sarah J Maas' writing. Love her! Ahhhh love Victoria Schwab too! So excited to read more books from her!
The Shades of Magic series is by far my favourite YA fantasy series I've read in a long time! I've heard that there's plans to make a film trilogy out of the books which I am pretty dang excited about!
I'm so happy to hear you liked TOD so much. I loved it. It felt like when I started reading the Throne of Glass series. I just could not put the book down.
I really hated what she did with Chaol's character so much kept seeing this in stores and then walking away because just remembering that storyline annoyed me, but I trusted you to pick up the series in the first place, so I bought this based purely on your review and will see if she redeems this storyline for me. I also got Geekarella - I'm not really a chick flick kinda girl, but I am a scifi/con kinda girl so I'm intrigued by that
I'm happy to say I ordered Three Dark Crowns two days ago and am currently waiting for it to arrive, I can't wait to read it, you got me so excited for it !! 😊
Sour Dough sounds like the perfect little escapism. I will definitely keep a lookout for it. I've still got to get a copy of Geekerella too. Sounds so good! PS love love love your cozy jumper. x
A darker shade of magic is so good but a gathering of shadows is even better as is conjuring of light. The entire trilogy is perfection.I cannot wait for threads of power.
I picked up Sourdough from Book of the Month as well! Super excited to read it!! I just started ADSOM! It’s amazing so far. And Geekerella is one of my favorite books I’ve read this year!
You might like The Little Beach Street Bakery books by Jenny Colgan if you like the bread-making. They're short, sweet and fluffy books. I think there are three in the series so far.
Gotta love sweater weather! It's awesome that you had such a great reading month. :) I'm definitely going to pick up A Darker Shade of Magic. That trilogy sounds great! My favorite read this month was A Girl of Fire and Thorns, so thanks for that rec haha! I was blown away by it!! I'm so pumped to gush about it in my wrap up/review. :)
I just started a Booktube channel and did a wrap up, watching this video made me realize I need to explain the book more! Thanks for being a role model :)
I read A Darker Shade of Magic last year and really enjoyed it, I just need to get on and finish the rest of the trilogy :) I can't wait to get my copy of One Dark Throne, after I read Three Dark Crowns a couple of months ago I needed the sequel after that cliffhanger, hopefully it won't be long til it arrives. I'm only 50 pages into Tower of Dawn but based on what I've read, I've been pleasantly surprised so far - I was also hesitant about picking up this book but after hearing so many amazing reviews I'm looking forward to finishing it! Great wrap up :)
I haven't read Tower of Dawn yet! Planing on reading it (hopefully) this month! I've already started Three Dark Crowns today and I'm like 88 pages into it and liking it! Maybe I'll buy the sequel? I loved A Darker Shade of Magic! I'm reading the sequel in October! I haven't read geekerella yet, but I really want too! Nice wrap up Regan!(:
I wish I could read that much in a month 😓 I only read 1 book last month cos uni's in full swing unfortunately. Hopefully I can get some books read in the next few months
Please please please would you consider reading the epic fantasy series The Banned and the Banished by James Clemens? It's my favorite series (with Harry Potter of course) but none of the booktubers I follow have read it and I would love to hear your thoughts :)
Hmm I might be convinced to pick up Tower of Dawn after all but do I need to read Empire of Storms before? Also I started Three Dark Crowns as audiobook but had to put it down cuz it was too confusing so I will read the paperback instead
I would say you do have to read EOS first, because that's book 5 and TOD is book 6, and you'll understand what's happening. Also, there are EOS spoilers in there :)

The Shades of Magic trilogy was one of the best trilogies/series I’ve ever read and definitely my favorite trilogy/series I’ve read this year so far.
There are going to be 4 books total in the Three Dark Crowns world! Which is amazing - I also loved One Dark Throne! So deliciously dark.

Name of the wind is next on my TBR!! It's been looking at me from its spot on my shelf haha
You might like The Little Beach Street Bakery books by Jenny Colgan if you like the bread-making. They're short, sweet and fluffy books. I think there are three in the series so far.
A darker shade of magic: the romance comes later and it's one of the most adorable things. Both of the relationships that happen.
+charity yoder yay! I'm actually so happy to hear that!
Nooo, spoiler! 😦 I don't want Lila and Kell to be a thing, they're great as friends and nothing more...
Gotta love sweater weather! It's awesome that you had such a great reading month. :) I'm definitely going to pick up A Darker Shade of Magic. That trilogy sounds great! I finally finished all the Game of Thrones books in September, followed by zombie fiction by Mira Grant :P. btw love your sweater!
I’m reading Tower of Dawn this month! Hope I’ll love it as much as the rest of the series!😃📚
Have you ever read A Tree Grows in Brooklyn? It's my mom's favorite book and now I'm finally reading it and it's really good!!
Since you like historical fiction and baking, I'd recommend The Storyteller by Jodi Picoult
I still haven't read Empire of Storms :O Need to get on that. It looks like it was a great reading month for you! -Melissa
I must read Tower of Dawn in October!
I believe there are 4 books in the 3DC's series.
When is the Geekerella live show? I just finished it yesterday and I loved it!!
Didn't read anything this month and I feel really bad 😩😩 I've been caught up with schoolwork lately. Being a senior is hard 😪🤦🏻♀️
I haven't read Tower of Dawn yet! Planing on reading it (hopefully) this month! I've already started Three Dark Crowns today and I'm like 88 pages into it and liking it! Maybe I'll buy the sequel? Charleigh Hocking oh how unfortunate then cuz I started eos but really didn't like it and it's been a year I'm pretending I'll pick it up one day
Currently reading darker shade of magic, I just started yesterday so we'll see. Out of curiosity, Regan do you read any fan fiction?
I've heard mixed reviews on one dark throne. Should I pick it up? XD
Three Dark Crowns isn't a duology😡 I was so dissapointed about that... just finished it today😑
Ps. Have u read the septimus heap series by angie sage? It's a middle grade novel and a high fantasy! Something u might like!(:
I'm hesitant to continue the Throne of Glass series, since I read the first book and loved Chaol, but I'd rather not see his character ruined. :/
When you hit the like button before watching the video! You da best ☺️😂
I just found this side of TH-cam and I'm so happy I did.
way better than the Jake Paul side😬😬
I only read book and a half but to be fair the one whole book I read was Order of the phoenix
Loved your video!
What books do you recommend me to read?
Jikookslover37 Suga Hey! If you haven't read The Book Thief I'd definitely recommend it.
