Thank you for watching and supporting my channel. ❤️
Ah Jo what a pleasure it was to watch this video while enjoying the company of my Avec~ I feel so precious about our friendship and I’m grateful that you have documented the great time we had here on this video! A memory I’ll always be fond of.
Well done for enjoying the Avec for a while now! And I think feeling emotionally attached means that your notebook IS meeting your needs, rather than the other way around. 🍀🌟
Ohhh you are so sweet. I know, my Avec has become my baby, I can’t even dream of using a different system. I don’t recognise myself!
Our journal and cafe adventures will always hold great memories. I am still regularly thinking about that lemonade.
I'm on the opposite side of my Avec-Journey. 🙈 Started in January but soon found out, that it isn't working for me. Sold my second book so that it could be useful for someone else.
I love how much you love this planner. The beauty about planning for me pays in the fact that there's a planner for everyone and I love to watch folks when they are in a happy planner place. ❤️
I couldn’t agree more, there is definitely a planner and a system out there for everyone. And I also think that my system will change again at some point. Love that you realised what wasn’t working and gave your second book to someone to try. I hope that you have found something that is working (or you are enjoying experimenting) xx
So much of what you mentioned here resonated with me - the love/hate relationship with Instagram, waiting ages to start a channel (I legit waited years), how lovely the journal community is! So glad I found your channel, and glad you're enjoying the Avec 🥰 Also you absolutely made the right choice filming instead of watching the England game lol 🥲
I agree - yet I think we started our channels at the right time for us ❤️ starting at any time is better than never. I’m so glad I’ve found your channel too.
Oh yeah, even though I didn’t watch it I still did hear it from my neighbours. The whole country cheered when they scored. Xx
@@Jojournals90 so true! Things fall into place when they’re supposed to 🥰
Love so much how you’ve setup your books, your daily pages are giving me some inspo! Hope you have a great week 💗
Thank you!! So excited to see how your system is going. 🥰
What a treat to meet up with a fellow journaler, I don’t think there are any in my part of the U.K. 😂
I’m slowly moving away from Instagram. I’ve had horrible experiences - both bad insights into some business people & including someone who I thought a friend totally backstabbing me. Drama! But the worst is IG switching from community focus to TikTok copy - they push viral content & your followers rarely see your posts! Crazy.
But I can’t leave entirely because I’ve made some lovely connections. Sharing our love of paper & pens is a gift for sure.
Take care, tfs 😊💛
Completely agree with you on the Instagram! It’s just making me watch videos of people cleaning their kitchen with 100 products. And not showing me the content that I follow. It’s weird.
@@Jojournals90 wow, I would take that personally (😅 jk)
I love your videos. I’m in journaling limbo. I have so many pages I want to do but I never know which journal to so I end up doing nothing.
Ahh I hate journaling limbo. My advice would be to grab any journal your heart is drawn to and just get going. Remember it’s not about the book it’s about the feeling. I would also recommend carrying that book around with you all the time (even around the house) to build up a connection. Hope this helps!! Xx
Thank you for a late night video ❤
Better late than never 😆❤️
Love to see you getting settled into your Hobonichi❤ Both you and the common corner always give me much inspiration, it's nice to see other people talk about their journals with so much passion and joy. I now need to find myself a Moomin charm, because that is just the cutest! How do you find writing in this thicker journal compared to the thin TN inserts?
Thank you so much! For the thicker journal, I’m finding that I don’t mind it when the page size is bigger (anything over a b6 really). I used to love A6 but now it’s too small for me. I did find that the cousin full year was too chunky for me though. X
the Hobonichi stencil rulers has a dotted line
They do, I just found that they are tricky to use with the pens that I have. I do use them every now and again though. I much prefer the wiggly line at the top of the stencil. I’m really enjoying a wiggly line these days ☺️
Do you always write with a fountain pen & what do you like about it?
Ohh good question. My everyday pen is actually my Uniball one (it’s my favourite for hobonichi if you like a 0.5). I tend to use my fountain pens for extra bits like in my stalogy.
The thing I love about fountain pens is the romanticism of them. They feel special when you write with them. I also love experimenting with inks - there are soooo many beautiful colours you just can’t get in gel ink. X
@@Jojournals90 This is why I want to start using a fountain pen 🖋️💖
