4:45 That's interesting to hear because I often am _unaware_ of what I'm feeling. I might be anxious, my mother would ask me if I'm anxious and I'd think I'm not, but my mum would say I've been acting anxious.
I got my diagnosis today 😬. Been a long time coming and it was expected but I'm still stunned and don't quite believe it yet. Your videos really help so thank you xD
Wow, another thing connected to autism. The more I get to know all the different „side effects“ of autism the less guilty and bad I feel about all these things that seem so easy to others and so impossible for me. Thanks and keep educating 🖤
It isn't the calories, it's the glycemic index. That is, how fast the food is broken down and hits your body as high blood sugar. The problem is that the sugar high departs equally rapidly, leaving you with the shakes and a craving for more quick blood sugar. I grew up on what was the paleo diet -- red meat, crunchy green carbs from fruits and vegetables. Unlike most kids, I wasn't forced to finish my starch course -- potatoes, rice, pasta. It was only when the dietary advice changed to low fat, low protein, high grain and starch calories, that I began to gain weight. There was a reason our parents would tell us to fill up on bread. Grain produces cheaper calories and leaves you less hungry for the meat and green vegetables, which take longer to break down and hit your bloodstream. I do eat some dairy in the form of eggs and cheese --high fat, but they keep the blood sugar nice and even. The only problem nowadays is that the healthier foods like fresh vegetables and lean meat are too expensive for many people, and some doctors are stil stuck in the low fat high grain dietary advice.
My favourite food is salt and vinegar chips (like crisps, not hot chips). It's a bit awful because I've literally landed myself in hospital because of them before and I have to really restrict myself but they're sensory heaven to me 😭
It seems like whenever I stick to a ketogenic diet, my mind works much better and I have more energy. It's not that hard for me most of the time, since I've never really liked carbs. I don't feel deprived, but I tend to eat the same things every day so it can get monotonous. Sugar makes me feel hung over the next day. I have to avoid giving myself permission to eat junk food if I get really depressed, especially during the winter.
I felt infinitely better on a ketogenic diet. The only issue I had was that my sleep was always terrible and bad sleep is another thing that debilitates me. I've had to go for a mostly ketogenic diet 2/3 meals....then have a little bit of carbs in the meal closest to bed.
Hi Dan. Great info, as always. My ASD daughter, (9 yrs old) choked on a tomato skin last Boxing Day. She had a major panic. She hasn't eaten solids since. She sticks to yoghurt & homemade fruit smoothies. Also she has poor coordination,so is not great with sport.Riding a bike etc , is very difficult because her muscles tire very easily. Also she often confuses hunger for anxiety and can become very food obsessed. We really gotta keep an eye on her as she can gain weight easily. She loves swimming. (for years she hated it as she thought she would drown). I try to make sure she swims 2-3 times per week. Food has always been an issue. She will eat raw, never cooked vegetables. Bit of a minefield. When she asks for junk, (we do allow it sometimes) but we tell her it is very bad for her teeth. We NEVER mention weight or body shape, purely focus on dental health & how various nutrients work in the body, (which is one of her areas of interest). Keep the video's coming, so full of useful info for parents too!
I read that gut issues are actually very commonly comorbid with autism so a healthy sensory friendly diet is really important. Also, sensory issues apparently can cause symptoms/flare ups with stomach problems so it's not always just unhealthy food causing issues!
Battled IBS for years, finally went vegan, everything was seemingly fine, barely any flare ups. Fast forward a few years now and pasta is making my IBS act up again. 😕 I guess my body rejoiced at the lack of animal products, which were the number one killer, but now that it's gone it's like my body is now realizing it still doesn't enjoy pasta, especially lately. Lots of stress. Anxiety. I love pasta so much though and bread. 🙈😞
Just wanted to point out that a lot of fast foods and high sugar foods are gluten free so I wouldn't use that as an example of a healthier option. (Also the only Doritos which contain gluten are the cheese ones, the rest are gluten free)
I’m on the spectrum and hate the texture of veggies and some fruits, so finding healthier alternatives for the junk I eat definitely helps. That’s a great idea to hide the veggies in a green smoothie. I’ll have to try that!
I haven't tried any diets for helping my ASD in particular but some of the vitamins and nootropics I've tried have helped. The other day I did a B-complex, GABA, L-Theanine, and fish oil and seemed to keep me comfortable working with people all day.
favourite food atm is pink lady apples. processed sugar evan cane sugar is te worst thing for you, its horrible for moods, weight gain, inflamation, gass, changes in brain chemistry of seratonin and dopamine, higher acidity level in the gut and everyones favourite diabeties. cerial is only bad if its a sugar laden one and going dairy/gluten/msg/vegan free isnt always best due to being highly processed. ps i love the way you deal with your hyperactivity on camera
Firstly love all of your videos and second, great video here. It intrigued me. I already suffer from Celiac disease and it’s hard to take the things out of my diet that are already gluten free but contain sugar especially in high amount. Luckily I work in a warehouse and I get plenty of exercise. Still, some of the foods like you said are feel good foods but that feeling is short and the distress is longer so it’s really not worth it. I want to try Gluten free and vegan diet also organic and non-GMO. What is your opinion anyone and everyone can answer this not just Aspie World.
I was actually just biting at the skin around my nails while watching this video, haha...if I get a little bit of skin or hangnail hanging off somehow, I can't help but feel the need to bite it off.
Yeah, I tend to pick at my nails/skin. I've been successful at not picking and overcutting my nails, but lately I've been messing up my eyebrows. It's hard to stop myself from doing it.
I always wanted to be a vegetarian, but my parents said to eat whatever was put in front of me and be greatful. Once i left home i finally became a vegetarian, then later on i learned about veganism, and also added that into my diet. I then heard about raw veganism and tried that too. I love raw vegan desserts and have a favourite recipe book that has loads of recipes in that i love:- rawsome vegan baking by emily von euw. My problem is i still get cravings for food that is bad for me, like takeaways. I have also not been able to drink anything else for over 2yrs but dandelion and burdock, although i do only eat 1 thing for my breakfast which is good for me and that is cheerios with sweetened soya milk. This is something else that i have been eating for over 2yrs now. Luckily my cravings don't usually last long and i'm then back to eating better. I basically listen to my body and try to give it what it wants/needs. Thankfully there are a lot more choices these days for vegetarianism and veganism, and the food is delicious and well priced even for those on a budget.
I love the style of video that made it so fun to watch!😄 Totally agree on how a diet can really help improve you as a person, I Have always adored fruit and vegetables, I used to only eat salads fruit and veg I didn't like processed anything in fact I still don't so I am lucky with this, I try eat as healthy as I can but I am one for loving chocolate and biscuits 😂 I have IBS and it's quite bad so I have to be really careful of what I eat otherwise I get super sick, so definitly keep to a routine of stuff I know i don't react to, sometimes I give in and I do get very sick afterwards, and I find the more processed a product is the sicker I'll get with it. It really is true about diet, you can change a load about yourself just by watching what you eat:)
My favourite foot would be either chickenpeas with a little bit of olive oil (or with roasted pumpkin!), or migas (Spanish meal made of fried dry bread, meat and deli (can be substituted or removed) and fruit such as grapes.
Im stuck eating the same things almost daily... a duck egg with toast for breakfast, fruit or narins ginger biscits for lunch and scotch broth soup and 3 slices of sourdough bread toasted for dinner... this routine ive been stuck in since nov. Before that it was green pea and ham soup been about 9 months of the same things. Waiting to see the doctor...i have some other glitches i cant get rid of the last lil bit. Slowly going crazy. Cheers for sharing your stories good sir.
yesss. smoothies are literally the only way I get fruit and/or leafy greens in my diet. but i have to drink smoothies through a straw because of the texture.
Organic foods are not healthier, they have been produced using fewer pesticides and often with alternative farming methods (such as permaculture) and improved animal welfare.
Leah and Harley's Great Adventures that wouldn’t have anything to do with organic, organic just means it doesn’t use pesticides it doesn’t affect the ingridents at all
cause if my aspergers i dont like bits in my sauces/foods so when i make smoothies i can only have frozen fruit then i top it up with orange juice then i sieve it helps and its tasty then left over smoothie cause i make too much i put in ice lolly moulds and put in freezer and have for desert xx
But I love junk food ... Pizza, Fries, Chips, Doughnuts, Chocolate I could go on an on, it's all so good! Vegetables taste like vomit to me. British meals like roasts aren't "dude" enough for my tastes. What I don't understand is that not too long ago I could eat and eat and eat and never gain a pound, but now I am getting heavier. I don't think I'm eating any more than I used to. Maybe food has got fatter or something.
Hmm, smoothies. Well I do tend to drink a lot of my calories. I've been trying to replace my pop drinking habits with almond milk and teas, though it's been a slow process. I think it helps my sleep a bit.
I had a huge problem with eating spaghetti after school when I was still in high school. As soon as I walked in the door, I slapped a pot of water on the stove and just ate it with butter and parmesan. Had to stop because the carbs and sugars were slowly going to make me diabetic.
I used ti have a problem. I would just get up and snack on whatever. One time I was home alone and pacing and thinking a lot, nothing bad, but I ended up eating pretty much an entire box of mini cinnamon buns while doing that lol. I also ised to sit a lot using my phone etc… Well now I have a healthy diet and lifestyle and I have seen great improvements. I think it will benefit anyone mentally and physically really. But its especially good if you have some sort of condition because this can help. This goes not just for asd but also add/adhd depression and anxiety disorders etc…
I would definitely go for smoothies. That said I hate the texture of rice and beans no matter what. Lab produced meat and dairy and is it's way and that could possibly be a great healthy alternative.
Hi, I love your videos - Thank you!!! How abbit thw Paleo lifestyle? I not used of I put Paleo first in my search, the recipes that come up are normally keeps out all the ingredients goi have mentioned to stay away from. It's a trick I learned and it works. Goi don't have to be Paleo to use the recipes. People who are truly good at cooking Paleo foods have experimented for years, and there are many talented people out there, and you'll find recipes for Paleo fries rice, which the rice is substituted by cauliflower, or Palwo banana pancake, is made of bananas and eggs - no flower at all. It's fun to cook this type of food for creative people, because it's like art... There are thousands of Paleo videos to explain the benefit, and some people are even Paleo vegetarians. Good luck and have fun, and also, din't underestimate the power of intermittent fasting, or just plain fasting. Check out Dr. Jason Fung on that. Good luck!!!
I'm currently very much into beans, lentils and peas. I'm not entirely sure why. But they do have great taste and are healthy. I'm not super sure about the gluten and lactose free diets. I'm a member of a Facebook group for extreme science based facts and they have debunked the whole idea of gluten and lactose turn people more autistic. That being said, try to change the white flour with whole grain products because they are more healthy and great for the digestive system.
Tikka Massala is utterly delicious! I also love much Indian food and Thai yellow curry. And vegetarian Mexican dishes. I am an aspie, but my aspie son can't get over the texture so he doesn't enjoy much of what I like. I deal with IBS and and have Hashimoto's Thyroiditis. To keep these things in check, I try to eat a mostly whole foods plant-based diet.
Loved your video my son has tried rice balls and loves them doesn't like mayo in it and the other day he had some sushi and liked it my son loves rice. So we are slowly getting there with his diet ☺
Dipping salami into Nutella. Placing Nutella onto salami slices. Good old times. And now I am restricting and counting calories. Trying to burn off everything I am eating. Lactose is bad. Also, too much gluten and fructose. Not to mention industrial sugar.
The Aspie World Yes. It is! The combination of sweet and salty/spicy is really tasty. Also, eating food this way sure is fun and makes it taste even better.
I don't think I could ever give up candy. I don't want to live most days so candy is one of the only things that gives a glimpse of happiness. Candy is the way I break the ice to talk to people because I usually don't have much in common with people. So it's a way I know they will talk to me or act like they like me. So it's a comfort thing more then food. I don't eat alot because of my anxiety. So candy is always something that goes down easy. I walk alot so I'm not getting fat or over weight. I like all foods I just don't crave alot of foods. If that makes sense.
I really struggle with fruits and vegetables, if it's not the texture, its the flavour or smell. I could no way drink a smoothie knowing what vegetables were in there. I have a sweet tooth but I love savoury food too. Favourites are pizza and bacon. Everything I eat is pretty much processed, I don't have the patience to cook a meal from scratch plus the fact I live alone (can't live with other people it drives me nuts 🤪) and I really don't like washing up (it makes me go light headed and feel like I'm having a panic attack!?! Anyone else get this?)
I got triggered by spoof junk mail spam after I had been eating junk food for 2 days. It makes a huge difference I usually try to stay away inflammatory causing foods(most of these were allergens too XC) and take cod liver oil.
One of the worst qualities of my Asperger's is my picky eating. I pretty much gag on all vegetables except for potatoes. I need to cut them up into tiny pieces and wash them down with water. The only fruits I'm okay with are bananas, cherries and papayas. I hate seeds in my food. I also can't stand mayo, mustard or hot sauce (I love ketchup and BBQ sauce, though) I'm trying to hold back on sugary drinks recently and I'm ordering ice water more often.
CHICKEN it's pure protein I need it to keep my diet going. I can eat chicken all day everyday And I do I add nothing to it grass fed only chickens for the Amish farms here in my small town. I don't eat red meat.......
Élizabeth Saint-Pierre I respect your comment but as a Christian GOD gave us these birds to eat as well as cows they are not meant to be friends or pets they are food for man.... I can't & won't live without meat
Rusty Harvey Evolution put them there to live their life just like us humans. I thought that "you shall not kill"..? You do not need meat to live... It is detrimental to your health and the environment suffers A LOT from animal agriculture. These are facts.
Élizabeth Saint-Pierre Evolution is a fraud it doesn't exist God is the creator of all he made these creatures for man to eat...... it's a proven fact man needs meat to survive....
Rusty Harvey I guess it's alternative facts then ;) Compassion is key and it does not only apply to humans... I love living a cruelty free life; that's a fact!!! :) Show me studies that prove humans need meat to survive. If humans needed meat to survive, I would be dead, as well as the millions of vegans and vegetarians on Earth. Think about it.
let's start off by saying thank you for this video (and your channel in general) ! i've tried weening myself off of the types of food you mentioned, since i figured my lifestyle isn't that healthy. up to this point that's all fine and dandy - i just lost my appetite and a whole bunch of wight in the process. if i can't have sweets and crap food my body kind of strays away in protest. does anyone relate to this? thanks to your video i'm going to try and find more healthy crappy options in orter to not fall apart :') wird logic..
My asd boy won't eat bread or bread like things cholesterol and fat are good for the brain through meats and raw milk but can't get raw milk where I am. He likes fruit, meat, pasta, yogurt, biscuits so he likes a good mix of everything! He just doesn't do a lot with bread.
Not an autism issue but I found that I had some digestive issue causing constipation and anxiety and found that if I ate one serving of oatmeal a day, it prevented the issue.
Hello;) I really like your videos! please keep doing what your doing. 👍👍😎⚘ The best thing i can add on for a share on eating healthy- cut out most sugar and add healthy fats, if you can tolerate peanuts they are an healthysnack i binge munch them! Add some avacado to a salad and find a veggie you like and hummus is great for you too! Feta cheese with scrambled eggs! Yum!
The Aspie World 🤓I dont recommend "binge munchin" on peanuts. I was wondering if you had any insight on eating disorders? Maybe a future video for others who have this struggle. -eating has always been my comfort. Thank you for all that you do here, Peace✌
Wow you have give me the answer why I feel I need to eat some fat with every meal. It the engine I need. Can you show how you eat? Do you take any supplements?
3:20...well, that explains L from Death Note. I really do eat way too much sweet processed food, though. I also have GI issues, it's interesting how that tends to be linked with autism for some reason.
My favourite food is broccoli. I also have a fear of bread, I don’t know what the cause was but ever since I was very young I have not been able to stand the taste or smell and have to go out of the room if it is present.
This is different for me. I prefer vegetarian foods and only eat meat because my husband insists on having it occasionally. The smell of dairy is nauseating. Cheese literally takes my breath away, makes me feel painful and nearly sends me into an anxiety attack. After smelling it or being around it I have to shudder and literally shake it off and recover for a few minutes before I can re-enter the room or eat. I also developed an eating disorder for a long time because I was having some stomach issues and also wanted to lose weight. So my over-logical brain decided that hey, I'll just not eat. So I stopped eating for a long time and only ate around other people. Not because I had a bad self image or emotional issues; I seriously didn't. It just seemed like a practical solution, which looking back I know was crazy and horrible but my odd relationship with food and health rituals/practices led to unhealthy habits. Not junk food, but swinging too far the other way instead.
Hey Dan. I just started year 10 and Its putting a LOT of pressure on me and I keep having meltdowns. Could you maybe do a video about Gcse's and autism or just school and autism in general?
As someone who worked at a smoothie joint...stay away. There is so much sugar in there. They add the sugar to the fruit before they add the sugar to your personal drink so you can't ask them to leave out all sugar on your personal drink. Buckets of sugar added to the strawberries in particular.
You did that again!!! A wonderful video with tons of information!!! Thank you))) we put son on diet (gf, df, eggf, almond free) many years ago, within a month I Saw all the changes . Also detox, immune and flora Recovery has help tremendously! We gave also a trick for eating out. Kirkland has enzymes in pills, that help a lot if you are not shure if food will give you any diet side effect. Will be helpful if you give some supplements advice)) CYBER HUGS)))
My favorite food category is cooking comfort foods from my childhood. I eat relatively healthy and don’t eat leftovers. If I’m out, or at a friend’s home I don’t eat new things I can’t identify. I tend to eat the same type of lunch every day at work with a fun food to look forward to. I don’t like smoothies bc of the textures. 🤢
in the video you said "Helps reduce the symptoms like getting over excited..." what do you mean by this do you mean like get to happy? because i do not think that is a thing you would want to reduce. (Jessica from How to ADHD also agrees) (Side note is your book only about star wars or is it also about Autism)
This is so true, because when I started a vegan diet a few months ago I drastically cut meat and dairy products from my diet, and while I didn't miss meat (except for maybe fried chicken and sushi) I felt weirded out by the lack of cheese in my house. :P I'm fine now but I miss certain snacks that have dairy in them like Hostess treats.
Everything you said in this video may be good for us autistic people but in America those kinds of foods are expensive so it's harder for people that are poor to get ahold of them
Hello, my nephew was diagnosed with asperges’s syndrome he is 3yrs old my husband and I noticed few months before one yr old, but it was very hard to let my sister know that her kid was special we tried in so many ways but She got upset, negative etc but today She told me that they finally think that he has some behavior similar to asperges, How can you teach a child to avoid or to say no! in some of his favorites foods? He loves pizza, cupcakes,we are Mexicans so he loves flour tortillas and My brother - in law brakes his heart 💔 one day in his school because they were celebrating a birthday to one of the kids and their moms brings pizza, spaghetti or whatever but at the end the main reason for a birthday is a cake or cupcakes and my nephew was ready to grab one very excited and suddenly my brother in law says NO! He can’t have one and my poor little nephew didn’t know what’s going on 🤷🏻♀️so He cried and another question is the whole family needs to change eating habits also? I’m trying to have a little bit of knowledge because I don’t have kids but I love my nice and my nephew they are the only two grandchildren in our family so I very worry for him because I don’t want that he suffer during his childhood (My English is limited so I hope that you can understand what I’m trying to say)
I'm not diagnosed yet (I go in in a few days) but I can't stand rabbit food... Except corn and pistachio. I can't even eat the hamburger helper that has tomato skin flakes without gagging.
I am really funny with textures and tastes I can eat veg as most are bland but can't stand fruit as the texture I can't eat sauce I get wierd looks when out eating as can't hold knife and fork properly I also eat food in order too so veg the potatoes then meat 😂😂 but my best friend who takes me out is cool with it it's nice to have a mate who understands autism very well
4:45 That's interesting to hear because I often am _unaware_ of what I'm feeling. I might be anxious, my mother would ask me if I'm anxious and I'd think I'm not, but my mum would say I've been acting anxious.
Low-gluten/ketogenic diets are amazing for concentration and mood stabilization as well!
✌🏼

Great video!
I was expecting “VEGAN FIRE AND BRIMSTONE”
I like your approach much better.
Haha thank you!
Do "Autism and Music!" Also, I have met James Durbin, a rock star with Asperger's, like I have.
Dude that's awesome!
The Aspie World Thanks. Also, I play the drums, like you play bass. :)
I like that you move around the house a bit. Keeps things interesting!
My favourite foods are dark chocolate and fruit. I especially like mango and citrus fruit.
I love the "exclamation mark twice" lol Same.

Am I the only one that spends hours every day rubbing and catching hang nails on fabrics? I also pick at them, so my fingers are always bloody.
I was actually just biting at the skin around my nails while watching this video, haha...if I get a little bit of skin or hangnail hanging off somehow, I can't help but feel the need to bite it off.
learning to do ones own manicure and pedi or getting a pro to do it is a heaven send with this

Cool!! Thank you so much for the comment! Please subscribe to my channel to see more videos from me :).
Sometimes I go on weird fasts for long periods of time. It gives me a happy feeling like a buzz

The Aspie World I did
Im stuck eating the same things almost daily... a duck egg with toast for breakfast, fruit or narins ginger biscits for lunch and scotch broth soup and 3 slices of sourdough bread toasted for dinner... this routine ive been stuck in since nov. Before that it was green pea and ham soup been about 9 months of the same things.
Waiting to see the doctor...i have some other glitches i cant get rid of the last lil bit. Slowly going crazy.
Cheers for sharing your stories good sir.
Hey thank you for the comment.
Steak. I like chocolate but because I get migraines I can't eat it anymore.
+Leah MacDonald Ahh my mother gets that when she eats dark chocolate.
yesss. smoothies are literally the only way I get fruit and/or leafy greens in my diet. but i have to drink smoothies through a straw because of the texture.
Organic foods are not healthier, they have been produced using fewer pesticides and often with alternative farming methods (such as permaculture) and improved animal welfare.
Better than processed crap
A lot of organic foods I've looked at, actually had more sodium, and/or sugar than the non organic options.
I have my assessment at the end of this month. I'm quite nervous as I don't know what to expect.
Great video as always :)
I get you!!!
Hmm, smoothies. Well I do tend to drink a lot of my calories. I've been trying to replace my pop drinking habits with almond milk and teas, though it's been a slow process. I think it helps my sleep a bit.
"...BEcause hay you only have one body."
me: I want 2 bodies
Haha yeah!
I had a huge problem with eating spaghetti after school when I was still in high school. As soon as I walked in the door, I slapped a pot of water on the stove and just ate it with butter and parmesan. Had to stop because the carbs and sugars were slowly going to make me diabetic.
✌🏼
@@TheAspieWorld you just give a emoji how about not responding
I used ti have a problem. I would just get up and snack on whatever. One time I was home alone and pacing and thinking a lot, nothing bad, but I ended up eating pretty much an entire box of mini cinnamon buns while doing that lol. I also ised to sit a lot using my phone etc…
Well now I have a healthy diet and lifestyle and I have seen great improvements. I think it will benefit anyone mentally and physically really. But its especially good if you have some sort of condition because this can help. This goes not just for asd but also add/adhd depression and anxiety disorders etc…
Tomato Soup, Green Pepper & Classic Sabra Hummus, Vegan Ben n Jerry's Ice cream, any 100% fruit juice but prominently Grapefruit 💖🌸
I would definitely go for smoothies. That said I hate the texture of rice and beans no matter what. Lab produced meat and dairy and is it's way and that could possibly be a great healthy alternative.
+Kaileigh Dilks Yeah! There is a company called Beyond Meat which make meat like substances from plant proteins.

To keep these things in check, I try to eat a mostly whole foods plant-based diet.
i have celiac disease and im aspie xx
My favorite food is noodles with parmesan cheese. That's all I would eat as a kid.
Ooo noodles are awesome! I'm not really into cheese.
This is so true.
Yeah
Loved your video my son has tried rice balls and loves them doesn't like mayo in it and the other day he had some sushi and liked it my son loves rice. So we are slowly getting there with his diet ☺
Wow that’s amazing!! Keep going! Thank you for the kind words to!
Dipping salami into Nutella.
Placing Nutella onto salami slices.
Good old times.
And now I am restricting and counting calories.
Trying to burn off everything I am eating.
Lactose is bad.
Also, too much gluten and fructose.
Not to mention industrial sugar.
That sounds like a crazy food but fun!
The Aspie World
Yes. It is!
The combination of sweet and salty/spicy is really tasty.
Also, eating food this way sure is fun and makes it taste even better.
Blending fruit isn't a very good idea. You destroy the fiber, which would otherwise slow down the sugar intake. Still better than junkfood though.
Ahhh
Favorite food? Buffalo Wings. Seriously, if I don't get to eat them at least once a week, I could easily go full meltdown.
Nice!
Yeah it is so difficult to go healthy.
The freezer is useful. Cook something healthy in a larger amount and freeze some portions.
Been trying homemade bone broth made w/ Veg as well; this is helping my gut, joints & focus also
;)
Oh that sounds awesome!
My fav food right now is strawberries on toast
👍🏼
I don’t really eat junk food, if I eat a burger or something I don’t buy highly processed McDonald’s, I have homemade food.
Chicken/seafood Alfredo, anything pasta, Cheese and garlic.
I agree, roast vegetables are the best!!
Totally!!!
I hate weaning off anything. It's cold turkey and a couple days of suffering for me. Then I tell myself I deserve it...the pain and the change:)
Yeah it is really difficult!
macaroni and cheese or pizza... not healthy but it's been my primary diet my entire life.
I have Asperger and SAD (seasonal affective disorder) so weight gain is a huge problem for me
Yeah me t.
Yeah!!!
Roasted vegetables or soup/noodles are my favorite foods
CHICKEN it's pure protein
I need it to keep my diet going.
I can eat chicken all day everyday
And I do
I add nothing to it grass fed only chickens for the Amish farms here in my small town.
I don't eat red meat.......
Go vegan :) Birds do not want to end up in your plate and they are not healthy for you!
Élizabeth Saint-Pierre Evolution is a fraud it doesn't exist
God is the creator of all he made these creatures for man to eat...... it's a proven fact man needs meat to survive....
Hey you are welcome!!!
Yum!
👍🏼
The Aspie World 🤓I dont recommend "binge munchin" on peanuts.
I was wondering if you had any insight on eating disorders?
Maybe a future video for others who have this struggle.
-eating has always been my comfort.
Thank you for all that you do here,
Peace✌
Wow you have give me the answer why I feel I need to eat some fat with every meal. It the engine I need. Can you show how you eat? Do you take any supplements?
3:20...well, that explains L from Death Note.
I really do eat way too much sweet processed food, though. I also have GI issues, it's interesting how that tends to be linked with autism for some reason.
Ah!!!
My favourite food is broccoli. I also have a fear of bread, I don’t know what the cause was but ever since I was very young I have not been able to stand the taste or smell and have to go out of the room if it is present.
Broccoli is awesome!
Do aspies usually have full on celiac disease or just gluten sensitivity?
I'm not really a vegetarian but Burritos or wraps are my favorite.
Awesome!!!
Finally a guy who speaks directly to us and not just demonises food to divert onto a fad diet in order to promote a purchasing scheme
My favorite foods are miso ramen and curry with rice
Ooo I like ramen!!
You did that again!!! A wonderful video with tons of information!!! Thank you)))
we put son on diet (gf, df, eggf, almond free) many years ago, within a month I Saw all the changes . Also detox, immune and flora Recovery has help tremendously! We gave also a trick for eating out. Kirkland has enzymes in pills, that help a lot if you are not shure if food will give you any diet side effect.
Will be helpful if you give some supplements advice)) CYBER HUGS)))
Yup! It really does work! Thank you for the support!
Watch out with Fructose if your sugar affected (diabetes)
My favorite food category is cooking comfort foods from my childhood. I eat relatively healthy and don’t eat leftovers. If I’m out, or at a friend’s home I don’t eat new things I can’t identify. I tend to eat the same type of lunch every day at work with a fun food to look forward to. I don’t like smoothies bc of the textures. 🤢
in the video you said "Helps reduce the symptoms like getting over excited..." what do you mean by this do you mean like get to happy? because i do not think that is a thing you would want to reduce. (Jessica from How to ADHD also agrees)
(Side note is your book only about star wars or is it also about Autism)
My book is about autism and about how Star Wars helps my autism. Reduce symptoms over over excitement.
The Aspie World yayayayyayy thank you for letting me know
Caffeine satifys but dont over do it 2 xpresso a day enough morning after lunch before 3 !!
Queso and nachos or movie theater popcorn!!
For some reason, I'm obsessed with bread, (On it's own). I'm eating Aldi, whole grain brown bread seasoned with flour, while watching this.
My son is and always has been a carb freak.
Do you have a video on autism and learning?
GMOs are safe. They are tested on humans. Most of the food you’ve ever eaten was either artificially selected for or genetically engineered.
This is awesome thank you
I love teriyaki. I could eat rice and teriyaki every single day
My partner likes the same foods all the time how could I get he to try new foods
And I used to grow up on Buger King and Pizza after school every day. :P
And yasss, vegan chicken nuggets are the bomb. Tofurkey sausages too :D
I love ice cream. candy, and french fries
+Otaku 58 Oh Yeah!
Small changes all way up set me. Even good changes up set me.
Yup.
What's your favourite bands?
+Bree Krueger Blink 182, Yellowcard, Third Eye Blind, Owl City.
