I took hay rake tines and angle iron and an old 3 point hitch that I had and I made me a set of finger weeders with it or tine weeders and it seems to work a lot better than the store-bought ones or the regular cultivators do and all I have to do to adjust it is Tyco sometimes out of it so I don't rip my crop out of the roads and hit Works fantastic
This past month I bought a Ford 1710 high crop with 2 chain drive side dressers, all original, garage kept, with 477 total hours. I paid a L-O-T but what are you going to do.
I have my eye on a local Allis-Chalmers G. It is smaller and trailer-able to different locations that I farm at. I do like the 1710. It is well built and has the pto and 3 point hitch so that I can spray when the bugs are devouring the foliage. I have a 2 row cultivating tractor, my grandfather's CA. It needs rebuilding as it has been used by three generations.

I wonder what kind of planter he uses to plant beans in gravel soil. Also wonder how seeds germinate in gravel soils.
Nice operation. I live just beyond southern vt border. What kind of ground.is that a clay loam?
No just hard yellow clay here but with enough compost it can be turned into something good
Thanks! Really helped me with my homework
+Declan Mcgillivray HOMEWORK!?!?!?!?!? I want to learn what you are learning
We, as a 100% Pure Organic Fertilizer formulator, can help agriculture, animal husbandry more maximum yields and shorter planting times
I would rather use cultivation as I would to spray I do not like spraying spray and kills your ground it just destroys the nutrients that's in it
