The 21 hour video is definitely better for experiencing the story, since we cut out unnecessary fights, long walks from point a to point b etc. This is meant for people who want to see full fights play out or need help figuring out how to do something in the game. The way Aerith just marches in at the end, with that music. I just beat this after 120 hours of gameplay, on to hard mode. Best RPG i have played in over 2 decades.
I enjoyed reading your take on the game and glad to hear you love the game. I'm a 1st Gen Gamer (from the Atari era) I played the original in '97, the Remake and now on Ch 4 with Rebirth and taking my time completing all the missions per chapter and running around leveling up in the open world as I did back in '97 . So far my expectations exceeded what I thought Rebirth would be and I'm looking forward to continuing on with their journey! Even though some have issues wit the game, you can't please everyone. Everybody should just chill and enjoy this ride because before you know it. Part 3 will be here before you know it ! Thanks again Gamer's! Quality gameplay? You sure? Not assessing stuff? Missing unique enemies? Not abusing elemental weaknesses despite having readily accessible non-MP-based to use elements? Keeping Tifa whiffing 70% of the time vs airborne enemies? Missing entire attack sequences despite the enemy telegraphing before that they'd move out of the way? Focusing on using magic instead of items/abilities (which is an EXTREMELY bad habit to form if you ever plan on tackling Hard Mode) for dumb stuff like healing? Not abusing buffs when available? Not using Summon Entities more? Getting lost multiple times in the final dungeon despite having a very well designed and easily accesible map by today's standards? Even if this were a blind playthrough (which I don't think it is, nor mind or care if it were), you sure you want to call that quality gameplay? I came here to watch the story because as a separated single dad, I don't have the financial capacity to burden the cost of a console I'll very likely not touch again after finishing this game, but I've spent nearly half of this video essentially yelling at the screen because I keep seeing so many bad decisions. My headcanon is that final fantasy series only defeated phantasy star by absorbing it. Like a pod person, Nobody cares about phantasy star anymore because from final fantasy 7 onwards they were the same thing. Before that FF was just another d&d fantasy but with a steampunk airship, and bird mounts for originality, And phantasy star 1 was merely a star wars themed dragonquest 2 clone for a uncompetitive console nobody had . But phantasy star 2&4 are great sci-fi fantasy hybrid games, that were very competitive with the 90s FF series, and easily confused together because they are both called whatyoumacallit fantasy, So my theory is that final fantasy decided to go cyberpunk/steampunk hybrid on purpose to be anachronistic like phantasy star Making it PHINAL PHANTASY This way less people care about phantasy star online which some people avoided because they thought it was only playable online

It's friggin obvious lol, he thought he was the SOLDIER in mako reactor instead of Zack, it was Zack who approached Sephiroth first not him, in his memory he slept in the right bed (Zack's bed) instead of left bed (Cloud's bed), It's obvious his memory is polarized by him being Zack.
i think it’s because cloud knows things that happened to zack even when he wasn’t present. like he knows that sephiroth calls zack a puppy but was never present to hear that. how did he know what happened inside the reactor when when he was actually outside with tifa the whole time? it’s the small details about things that only happened when zack wasn’t with cloud that make it seem like he inherited his memory and i don’t blame people for thinking that.
It was such a good game, i was after the platinum trophy, but after 140h of game time i had to make a long pause, it has such a massive content and 7* hotel trophy is just ridiculously hard

In the Temple of the Ancient’s the lifestream is telling you the history of the Cetra and Jenova, showing murals on the walls etc and your camera is just looking at the floor and you’re walking too fast instead of taking time to really observe what is going on around you! It’s frustrating…

It's friggin obvious lol, he thought he was the SOLDIER in mako reactor instead of Zack, it was Zack who approached Sephiroth first not him, in his memory he slept in the right bed (Zack's bed) instead of left bed (Cloud's bed),
It's obvious his memory is polarized by him being Zack.
i think it’s because cloud knows things that happened to zack even when he wasn’t present. like he knows that sephiroth calls zack a puppy but was never present to hear that. how did he know what happened inside the reactor when when he was actually outside with tifa the whole time? it’s the small details about things that only happened when zack wasn’t with cloud that make it seem like he inherited his memory and i don’t blame people for thinking that.

It was such a good game, i was after the platinum trophy, but after 140h of game time i had to make a long pause, it has such a massive content and 7* hotel trophy is just ridiculously hard

Only 200GBs. The 22 hour game movie we did was 250gbs but it was in 4K. Since TH-cam won't process a 4K video at this length, we did it at 1080p so the file size is a bit smaller

How did you get through the Templenlf the Ancients & Aerith’s afterlife scenes in 4hrs? I’m playing it on “Hard Mode” it’s taken me 7hrs & I skipped fighting enemies that weren’t essential to the story.
I'm curious, how long did this took to upload?
I have a fast upload thankfully, 5gb upload speed. So it took about an hour to upload. The TH-cam processing took 2 days though

Dude. Are you new to this sort of game? To Final Fantasy? To RPGs in general?
Not immediately assessing everything? Missing unique enemies?
Not abusing elemental weaknesses despite having readily accessible non-MP-based abilities and tools to use elements?
Keeping Tifa whiffing on the ground 70% of the time vs airborne enemies?
Missing entire attack sequences despite the enemy telegraphing before that they'd move out of the way or unleash an unblockable attack?
Focusing on using magic instead of items/abilities (which is an EXTREMELY bad habit to form if you ever plan on tackling Hard Mode) for dumb stuff like healing?
Not abusing buffs when available?
Not using Summon Entities more?
Getting lost multiple times in the final dungeon despite having a very well designed and easily accesible map by today's standards?
Attacking Sephiroth Reborn's wings with magic and abilities *of the exact same element he is using and is also immune to, each and every time*, instead of going for opposites to ensure damage?
Not abusing Zack's synergy skill to cast any and all spells for 0 MP?
Even if this were a blind playthrough (which I don't think it is given the many cuts and obvious hints that don't appear in a first playthrough, nor do I mind or care if it were), this level of gameplay and outright ignorance of basic and easily inferable game mechanics such as elemental affinities shown in this game clear leaves a lot to be desired to be truly entertaining.
I came here to watch the story because as a separated single dad, I don't have the financial capacity to burden the cost of a console I'll very likely not touch again after finishing this game, but I've spent nearly half of this video essentially yelling at the screen because I keep seeing so many bad decisions. I'm waiting for the game to come out on PC to experience it myself, but I wanted to see the story first to see what the hype is about. I understand that making this sort of video takes enormous amounts of time and effort, and for that I legitimately commend you, but if you want to be truly entertaining for a video this long, you really need to pay more attention and essentially *get better* -- and this is coming from an old 2nd generation fart (from the Atari 2600 & Colecovision era).
Honest opinion and constructive criticism. I've seen several of your playthrough videos before and enjoyed them, because they showcased legitimately good gameplay. Not in this case.
