Love to listen to Andrew Wommack teachings but there's many people on TH-cam countering "The Word of Faith teachings":( Word of faith sounds awesome coming from Andrew Wommack and hope his teachings are what the Word teaches. I'm a type one diabetic going on 33 yrs now and now my eyes and kidneys are giving me trouble tTt
"I don't have to have to pray for anything because I've already got it in the spirit." Then, why pray at all? Didn't Jesus say that ask and you shall receive? Didn't he also tell us to pray, "Give us our daily bread"? The apostles also prayed. I can't reconcile these two seemingly opposites. Also, if EVERYTHING DEPENDS ON US because God has already done all his part, wouldn't that make us look to ourselves instead of to Jesus? Is that not dangerous because we are still humans after all (although new creation in the spirit) and there is the devil who will make every opportunity to beat us down when we start to look at ourselves (thinking that we're not believing enough and not "drawing out the power from our spirit" enough)? I'm not new to this You've Already Got It teaching. While it has helped to some degree, there have been times over the years when in fact it made me depressed because I'm still not seeing certain outcomes that I prayed for. If it's true that I've already got it inside, then it must be all my fault -- I'm not believing right, not believing enough, not this and not that. The result was instead of being/feeling victorious, I became depressed. So confusing.
From reading your comment I thunk you misunderstood most of what Andrew says. He doesn't say we don't need to pray or ask , but not to beg and pray as that we need to move God. He is saying that Jesus already died for us and the scripture says we were already given every spiritual gift we need. So as we received salvation so we also already received healing. So our prayer comes from confident reassurance that we already are saved and healed, and when we walk in this revelation of truth then things cam start moving for us. We come from thankful hearts in praise to what Jesus had already done. Same when he broke the bread and he took last supper with disciples he said take this any time and remember me, so that we would remember what he already HAD DONE. The new covenant sealed by his blood it's a done deal. We don't need to ask Jesus to die for us, he had already done it. So we are now free to walk in everything he has done for us. Then healing follows into our body, addictions melt away, we then have the power to change our lives with his power not in our own strength etc.
If we already got it cause of Jesus taking the beating on his back and shedding his blood then why do we have to say anything. Why aren’t we all healed

In the new covenant we are one with the Lord. We pray mostly the Spirit.
