Definitely just the missing oem rubber rain trim, could manage the gap. Otherwise I think the upgraded shocks could possibly be larger because the newer model year
I didn’t know the shocks were changed after a certain year. Thank you. I try to source the smaller ones from the older years. I’ll also try to find some weather seals
From the molding of the trunk button, it’s different now that I compare it. The Bella trunk also has a bracket on the inside to mount the camera so that might be why it’s thicker.
I got mine from 1A Auto www.1aauto.com/infiniti-g25-g35-g37-q40-driver-and-passenger-side-outer-2-piece-performance-tail-light-set-depo-325-1901fxas-c/i/1altz00176/1526848/2013?gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjwk6SwBhDPARIsAJ59GweirV9TVTkbrNfKlV39_PqzrLS3FAm8N4SKPjDF8KXgUqbWLhR_04YaAsDNEALw_wcB
Not yet but I plan to have it cleared. I did the install since I was asked about it. It needs a lot of adjusting so I’ll spend some time enlarging holes. And have to figure out how I’m going to mount my camera and trunk button.
The more I look at, I am happy with it. It rained yesterday and still raining today and no water inside. Someone suggested some weather seals I can put to make the gap less noticeable.
The reverse lights didn’t light up so I’m having to adjust/make the holes bigger and the other major one is no way to mount the reverse camera and trunk button. I’ll need to get creative on that.
Thats an expensive 7.5 lbs. If you're doing a carbon trunk for weight savings, i bet you could still loose a couple pounds on the factory trunk by cutting the inner shell a bit. And it'll cost you nothing
I agree on the reasoning for weight saving. I personally like the look of the duckbill trunk and got it for that. I just replaced my hood for a vented carbon fiber one and there’s only a 6 lbs difference.
Trunk looks worth it to me! Can’t wait to see the fenders on, your doing us Sedan boyz such a favor
For the price it’s good for sure.
Maybe put a 1/4in weather strip to help keep water out and make the gap look smaller
Yea, currently looking to do that. Its been raining this past few days and water doesnt get in so it just the aesthetic side of things
forsure worth it man ! looks so good !!!
Definitely on par with Jalisco it seems. Can’t complain for the price.

Must be nice being able to afford aftermarket car parts every so often lol.
You can do it too bro just manage your money better
Paint the inner part black so it helps blend the gaps.
I’ll definitely consider that. I appreciate it
great review thx for the detailed vid
Thanks Kevin.
damn i thought these were gonna be the same as the bella, the duckbill part looks so thin and comes out a lot more

Shiii looks awesome man where’d you get those inner and outer tails man?

I wish they had this for my coupe 😭
I have seen other parts like fenders and hood for coupes. But like you said, haven’t seen any trunks for coupes.
did the clear the parts? im sure its just exposed resin that will cloud over time

Not bad for a alibaba part

@@ProjectPanda13 it looks good bro , not too bad I would roc it
@@keemsmediaVR30 , $600 saving is a good bit from Successful Automotive and $200 saving from Jalisco
@@ProjectPanda13 facts bro , you have to try save some money if you can
Is there a negative other than cosmetic look to trunk gap?
