I personally like them, they have many good, young and talented players and they play nice, attacking football. They are a fun team to watch. They make Bundesliga much more entertaining. I think that the second game between Leipzig and Bayern was the best this season.
I get that this team is hated but you should give them credit for mainly playing with young players and unknown players rather than buying great players
Sebastian Duarte team isn't really hated, its Red Bull that's hated.

The hate started in Germany. The problem is that they used the money of Red Bull on signing youngsters of many clubs in the region.
They are robbing other Bundesliga team's promising players. I won't say whether it is wrong or not. That's up to you, people

I like how, despite the money, the team uses young players and unknown players. This is a case of money used right. The polar opposite of Bayern who just buy big players.

We get the fact that the team don't have history and the money controlls everything, but at least they don't spend millions on buying a lot of expensive players they just use young talents and unknown players

jassonrules123 they were (albeit quite smartly) funneled with money by red bull a big corporation with billions and basically bought their success with no real fans because it is not the same leipzig it was when it was bought initially because the fans of the club were mostly against the big corporation coming in and changing their name to RB Leipzig with does mean or atleast is meant to imply RedBull Leipzig but officially means Rasenball Sport Leipzig.

Get your facts. RasenBallsport Leipzig was always RasenBallsport Leipzig. They never bought a club, just the starting right of SSV Markranstädt, who is still playing in the 5th division. The club was foundet as RasenBallsort Leipzig 2009. with the name Red Bull, the DFB never had given the licence to play inside the DFB Divisions. To be more precisive, RB wanted to found RB leipzig as Red Bull already 2006, but back then, the DFB determinate that the name Red Bull does not fit the statutes of the DFB.
Also i've got a question for you, what are "real" fans? Don't really see a difference between fans from RBL and fans from other clubs, beside the almost not excisting voilent fans on the side of RBL.
They're owned by Red Bull and have bought their way to the Bundesliga whilst exploiting the 50+1 rule.

People that are not that familiar with the how German football works need to realize that German fans do not hate RB because of their money, there are already teams like Wolfsburg and Bayer Leverkusen to hate on because of that. The reason why RB is hated is because of their blatant disregard for the 50 plus 1 rule, their disregard for traditional German football and how it is geared toward the fans, and the fact that RB is just a walking advertisement.
Players who didn't know each other, a new manager and they did that goals in their first season... just incredibly.

What is the reason for hate on Leipzig? I don't get it.
They exploited the 50+1 rule.. in Germany, all clubs must be majority owned (minimum 51%) by the clubs members.. However, RedBull only allow membership for RedBull employees (effectively circumventing the 51% member majority rule and maintaining full control! .. hopefully that makes sense.
However, it should be noted that RB Leipzig are good for German football, because they gave Bayern a good challenge and should repeat this next season. They also nurture young talent and have given Timo Werner in particular a platform, which he has now gone on to play for the national side. And scored twice the other day!!
Chris Kendall Werner had played 3 seasons in the Bundesliga prior to this with Stuttgart, he just wasn't as good.
Ian Stephenson I'm aware of that.. what I was getting at was that Leipzig show faith in young players (I know he didn't lack game time before, but Leipzig clearly suits him) and he has flourished. he had a great season and made his way into national team selection as a result.
sometimes players just need to feel comfortable in their surroundings and clearly Leipzig have offered him this.
