Thanks for sharing your thoughts and ideas. Looks like a nice grease gun. Second the many comments on the lock and lube, I see you got one ordered. OLF was one of the first I ever saw use it, if I’m remembering correctly, someone sent him a tip, he liked it so much he did a video about it. The lock and lube people liked it so much they gave him a complete system with a refillable bucket with a long hose and a foot pump. Stay safe, wishing you and your family the best.

How often do you grease equipment? I wouldn't think you put that many hours on a machine in a week to hit them every time you use it. I know you aren't lookin to replace the trailer anytime soon, but if you get one where you slide the axles to unload, you can slide them to make getting into or out of tight job sites a little easier. Even shorting them up a few feet makes a big difference in how they turn.

Only issue I've heard about Milwaukee grease guns, is that after a while they can have priming issues (similar to your DeWalt) somewhere in there I think maybe at the end of the cartridge, there's a mesh screen, remove that & no more issues. But I thought you'd have had your fill with tools, having to put up with Kleeman & Aaron 😂😂😂 sorry Kleeman & Aaron I'm joking really 😂😂😂

  • @Dustin_Hruzek

The battery that comes with that grease gun is smaller but it does last for a while. They do make larger M18's that will fit in there as well.
Also, if you put a Lock n Lube on the end, check your hose threads. I had to order a different hose as mine were metric on the coupling side and standard on the gun side. The new hose will make both standard.

Mike I was once like you and had only yellow tools. Then one of my Dewalts gave up the ghost on a job and I needed a quick replacement and my local store didn't have the Dewalt I needed and the guy showed me the Milwaukee and I was unsure about it and he told me if I didn't like it that I could bring it back, so I bought it and a couple days later bought another Milwaukee tool and about a week after that I got rid of all my Dewalt tools and replaced them all with Milwaukee tools! I have their 1/2 inch high torque Milwaukee Fuel impact wrench that I think has 1400 foot pounds of torque and I use it to change my semi truck tires and if that's not enough for you they also make a 3/4 inch and 1 inch impact and a 12 amp hour battery! Their tools all have a 5 year warranty and their batteries all have a 3 year warranty! If you can buy their Fuel series tools, they're the best! And I'd dare say their regular tools are just as good if not better than Dewalts best model of tools.

I suppose it's cheaper to buy one "Booster-pack" than multiple batteries, as long as that's charged. I once worked for someone who felt the same way until the day it went dead. He then had to buy batteries for 3 trucks, (that's 9 series 31 batteries, Big $) I noticed loose boards on your ramp, fix them before they fall off like the ones that fell off the trailer I pulled one time and only one time.

I’m ryobi all the way does about what the bigger brands do but less. Money and can count on the same battery for every power tool I have their new grease gun has one speed but a lot of pressure behind it with a quick lock built into the end which is cool to have no have to buy a quick and lube piece

8:50 now you need a Milwaukee mid torque for that. It would make it way faster.

I can't leave the battery in my Milwaukee gun, must have a slight electrical draw for some reason. Other than that no problems what so ever.

I have one also and I haven’t had any battery problems. My batteries last quite a while in it. You should get them to fix it.

Mine works fine. Send it in. Milwaukee is great on warranty. I blew an oil seal on my mag drill that was out of warranty, but barely used. They not only fixed it for free, they replaced all the gears and bearings to be on the safe side, even though it only ran a few second after it let loose.
