Funny stuff. The last FOUR I ran had push button steering on the front of the right arm rest -right where the hand lays and the forefinger steers dozer to the left, middle finger steers it to the right. Best set up I ever saw by Cat for a dozer.
my 30ft pt trailer weighs 6500. 1750 of that on the hitch. my D47u with winch weighs 18500. So when I load it, I make sure the center of gravity on it is centered between my dual tandem trailer axles. Figuring my truck is already hauling enough. Trailer brakes are strong enough to slide tires on pavement if I so desire. F250 diesel crew cab 4wd gets 20mpg empty but with trailer and load will do 15 on flat ground. In the mountains of Colorado it does 10. Truck weighs 3450 on front axle and 2810 on rear, empty.

Could be just an injector knock. They sound bad sometimes. You can hear it at the end trying to fire on that cylinder and the knock goes away. Easy enough to find out anyway.
Good video, how do you like your PJ trailer, I have used only tag trailers but would like to buy a goose neck like yours. But do not know much about them.
Good thing you have some spare recoil springs there. Looks as if the old ones have had it -- and then some. Knockin' like a mofo. No telling what that could be. Hope the crank isn't torn up. Loose cap can be a crank-killer.
R Hurlow1 those small case machines are money pits. Get a track loader cat 931/941/951and a excavator. Do your jobs and sell for what you paid. Except for POL, maint, it cost you almost nothing. ChiefD

The dodge in the video was purchased in 2012. The other dodge was bought early 2013 and it don't even have a gooseneck hitch.
No, but those are factory "camper package" leaf springs or "towing package" leafs.
The rust from the exhaust usually drops in the manifold and finds itself between the valves. Might just need cleaning out.

Not the best chain connection at the rear draw bar, just looped it over, still can slide sideways.

Sounds like it could be a bad valve seat to me, possibly even an injector. What makes you think piston?
