Only ever heard the Foresters’ version, I am a super fan of theirs so this can't compete but like most 80s hits deserves to be remembered much more than it is
This was a Top 5 song, but was inexplicably left off of Holly's Milestone's Greatest Hits album. So it like "Why Wyoming" has become increasingly obscure. "Why Wyoming" is such a great song. Wish that both these songs were better known. Many of my favorites songs of Holly's were never released as singles. Across The Rio Grande was a tremendous album.
