@@meetyourmaker4849 In general, I would say to study songs that you like, and take notes on what makes them sound goo and how complex they are. Learning some basic music theory is always useful no matter what genre you're composing for (for darksynth specifically, learning when to ignore music theory helps too). Beyond that, try not to stop composing partway through a song. I've found that my best work is usually done in one or two sessions. Over time, you'll develop a sense for this; just stick with it!
@@Rudolve I see, I find myself opening music software and hitting a few keys, then closing it immediately. Commitment is very challenging when there is no spark to jumpstart a solid piece.
You've got to be kidding me. You're one of my main inspirations, dude! Holy shit! Welcome! I will admit, I'm still not very good at mixing. Nice to see you stop by!
@@meetyourmaker4849 Sounds like textbook writer's block to me haha. Something I find works for me is to sit in silence for a minute with my DAW open, hands off the keyboard. I try to visualize some scene or aesthetic I want to try to make into a song, then try to imagine what that would sound like. That way, I have something to work towards, instead of just wandering aimlessly through the practically infinite combinations of synth settings and effects in my DAW.
this has always been my edgy fuck it song since i love hotline miami ((besides fahkeet lol)) this captures the same way i felt playing as richter dying a shitload of times till i got gud out of pure rage lol. hotline miami really be the only game thats given me a major adrenaline rush where im so pissed off yet happy to finish a level lol.
@@RealSteelbite Noice, it sounds great! Hope to see more stuff in the future, love to see it! I’m working towards making my own original content sometime. Eventually lol.
Perfect tune to go on a rampage to during a prison break
isn't it lunch time?
Not for you pal
A Le Prev remix with Release in the title? I see what you did there
this remix has no right going this hard, brilliant
Love the crunchy lead you've shined a brilliant spotlight on! Gives the whole track a very distinct tone that im a big fan of
reminds me of rudolve's take on remixing le perv, but executed way different in a uniquely good way (not that it matters)
I've actually seen that cover, and I love it! I'd love to do some work with RudolVe someday.
hey, sound Le awesome; keep up the work 🕷🕸
bro found the blueshift preset
I look forward to seeing what you come up with next. Mix could use some work, but the sound design is 👌👌.
Do you have any tips for music composition of this genre?

Imagine the world
Fantastic remix! The description promped me to check what date Release takes place on, I do wonder if it being exactly July 20th was intentional.
very cool, bigger if true
Nice job

very nice remix/cover of LePerv, one of my favorite ! Also i have a question, which plug in/ sample u use for the arpeggiator (i think) at 2:23 ?
Hey there!
Most of my songs are made using Serum, although for this song specifically, I also used Razor!
Топчик
Damn, what synths you use on this?
Oh, hey, I recognise you! Thanks for stopping by!
Like I've said, I mainly use Serum, but for this one I used Razor. Mainly for the Blueshift preset.
