If you will still do this series, train Watkins to become a left winger but leave him on that plan. Seeing as he is only 19 he should grow to at least 88 by the end of next season

I suggest that u should still put Watkins on a development plan to change him to a striker inspite of knowing that it will take 252 weeks cause he has 91 pace but he lacks the finishing as he has only 62 finishing and that will obviously not help you in scoring more goals with him, specially in simulations. And also, putting wingers on a plan to change them to strikers and vice-versa is very broken this year in fifa and with the potential that Watkins has, you might have a 90+ rated player at the end of the season!
