    Hi guys, thank you for interesting video. I'm so happy I discovered your channel. If you go to Luang Prabang, visit the many temples, the Royal Palace, Kuang Si Falls and just walk around the peninsula. Then visit the villages around the city. I prefer to say "get lost": you have so many different places to discover, different minorities and their colourful and unique culture. Enjoy the amazing sceneries and the mighty Mekong. Have a great time in Laos. Greetings from Germany

      The town will be very quiet due to the closed borders... I visited LP the first time in 1996, there were almost no cars or motorcycles, hotels, shops or restaurants, it was a jump in the past and I fondly remember it.

    Nice video. We did the morning balloon ride and watched a spectacular sunrise. Loas is awsome. We went via suv from Vientiane to Vang Veing the route 13 along the Mekong all the way to Sipan Don (the four thousand Islans). There we spotted Iroddy dolphins and did the best zipline tour in Laos. Well Tad Fane ziplines are out of this world as well. Click the J to see a few vids I posted under the Joe Dirt name. Of course I'm not Joe ,haha. The vids are mine though. My girlfriend of 20 plus years is from Laos so in 2010 we built a house right on the Mekong near Pakse. I love it there. Have fun exploring Laos. I know we do. Cheers.

    do you know that you can bypass the bridge toll by going south about 5-6 km and going through the stone mine area?
    On the way back noone asks you for your ticket so you just have to take the detour once :)))
    Did it a few times already, once i made a video on the bridge as well.
    BTW stuck in laos for 4 months now as well, and planning to visit wang vieng in 1-2 weeks.
    (My wife does not knows it yet, so let it be our little secret) :D
    My care just came back from the repair shop today (full engine renewal) so we are good to go soon!

    What a view! We're in V V early this year but did not even know about this viewpoint. It'll be on our list whenever we revisit Laos. I suppose this would be off limit for my elderly mother?

    • @TravelsonToast
      @TravelsonToast  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's really worth it! At the beginning of the climb there is a sign that says anyone with heart problems/health issues that could cause problems shouldn't go up, it depends how fit and healthy your mother is I guess 🙂
