Dude, this is one of their most interesting performances I've seen so far! The theremin at the beginning totally sells the eerie, haunting vibes. Plus, they sound a lot like Black Sabbath in their early years. I loved watching this!!!
That was spectacular. Loved the Theramin at the beginning, and even as a relative newby to this kind of music, I can see the Sabbath influence as Zedski mentioned. I thought this performance was so good, so refreshing and that the musicianship was spot on.
it sounds a little bit like some french alternativ rockband of the early 90's at the beginning, and this guitar has so much 80's heavy metal vibes. Love the use of theremin, you can find it in some composition of one of my favorite french band Dionysos
Love these guys, this was awesome! I definitely wouldn't mind seeing a whole concert ! Taizai suru Kinzoku! *🤘🤘 *apologies if I got the phrasing wrong * 😆
I wonder if these guys are Sabbath fans, I get super Sabbathy vibes with the atmospheric sounds and simple but effective riffs. EDIT: after finishing it I'm 100% sure that this guitarist at least is a massive Sabbath lover :D
They are :) They mention Black Sabbath in several interviews as influences and they played Ozzfest 2013 which they considered a great honour [it also helped to boost their popularity at the time tremendously because although they have always produced music and went on tours their popularity decreased after the 80s. They also had to change their drummer a couple of times and then catered towards an underground audience for years. Ozzfest really put them back on the map again for a lot of people] Another huge influence were Genesis btw. they aren't often enough mentioned in connection to Ningen Isu :) [as someone born in the 2000s it needed Ningen Isu for me to discover Genesis and I'm so in love with their album Trespass. It's really nice to discover bands by going down the rabbit holes of other bands origins]
Gotta love it when someone busts out a Theramin. You don't see them used 6 much these days, but they have a unique sound for sure. This had a grinding riff to it, but i was not a fan of the vocalist.

They are such a fun band to dive into!
It is easy to get a note of a Theramin but master it is another level!
This should be on the OST for a Lovecraft horror movie 😮
Thank you for your reaction! From a fan of Ningen Isu in Japan!
Love them!
I discovered this band in 2022, they create an awesome special sound and I love it^^ thank you!
They are one of my fav bands
About the same time as me! Just by shear chance.

I knew you would enjoy this!
Not often you see a theremin at a live concert😮 You play it by not touching it😁
Its soooo cool
Mmm theramin. Always wanted to build one. Nice groove and riffs, solid riffs. Nothing bad to say, enjoyed it! ❤ and ✌️
A Theramin is one of the very few instruments you can play without touching anything on it.
I've been waiting for you to react to this one ^^. It's one of my favourites. Thank you!!

I believe so. The influence is so apparent!

Check out their cover of Guts by Budgie; they cover Sabbath and King Crimson tracks too - it is on TH-cam
Rock on! Just commenting because (I think?) it helps the algorithm
SIGH - Kuroi Kage
