@SethMeiring damn, i was hoping i was going to be in this video. i was the security guard for when you guys visited the monroe street store @4:43. i saw you and the other dude with the big camera on his chest walk in and was confused about it. also, the person in the thumbnail, her name is keisha who is the store manager at the monroe street store and she is a very nice and chill person from personal experience and the person on the costume of the chode gang costume there, her name is kelly, also a kind and chill person. for being their security guard for close to 2 months, i love all these employees here at the monroe location. i don't recognize the other locations as i've only done security for both the monroe and holland locations. love the vid btw

I understand being somewhat frustrated. When I work, I work. I do not want to play around with a prank. I don’t understand getting mad though, it it genuinely just a positive experience. I would play along and laugh as long as I wasn’t super busy.

I also personally hate attention being brought to me -- having these cameras on me, and having me be the center of attention and expected to have a reaction, would just make me anxious and aggravated. You also have no idea what kind of day people are having; of course this is meant to brighten days but the added stress of feeling like you have to "perform" and be taken out of your autopilot work persona can be unwanted. This is especially true when they try to figure out what's going on, clearly confused, and he keeps saying, "oh well you modeled for this right?"... Like, there can easily be a disconnect between when the prankee wants it to be over (even if they did find it funny), and he's still going. This would honestly sketch me out because eventually I WOULD want to know how he did this (probably sooner rather than later), and him continuing on like he has no idea with a deadpan tone would freak me out. Because, really, this could easily be creepy if done by the wrong person with the wrong intentions, and I would have no way to know what a random person's intentions were off the bat. Which isn't to say I'm against this prank, I love these vids and find them hilarious when people respond well. I just know myself and I know that while I wouldn't be angry or anything like the last few, I also probably would just find this more overwhelming than super funny.

I mean to some extent I can understand why some people may be uncomfortable with this prank as even I don't really like having my picture taken or being recorded without my knowledge of it. But this is a funny prank, even I would get a laugh out of it if someone did it to me. That last girl was definitely overreacting a little. Its one thing to take your pic and then slap it on an actual ad or product and sell it as their own. When used in this manner Im all for it. Im a photographer and I try not to get too much of ppls property if I take pics of something. Like if you have some amazing flowers out front of your house and its not on your porch but closer to the sidewalk area I will try to get a pic of them but Ill do so at an angle that doesnt show the house address or front door or inside any window.

@SethMeiring damn, i was hoping i was going to be in this video. i was the security guard for when you guys visited the monroe street store @4:43. i saw you and the other dude with the big camera on his chest walk in and was confused about it. also, the person in the thumbnail, her name is keisha who is the store manager at the monroe street store and she is a very nice and chill person from personal experience and the person on the costume of the chode gang costume there, her name is kelly, also a kind and chill person. for being their security guard for close to 2 months, i love all these employees here at the monroe location. i don't recognize the other locations as i've only done security for both the monroe and holland locations. love the vid btw

Same. I also personally hate attention being brought to me -- having these cameras on me, and having me be the center of attention and expected to have a reaction, would just make me anxious and aggravated. You also have no idea what kind of day people are having; of course this is meant to brighten days but the added stress of feeling like you have to "perform" and be taken out of your autopilot work persona can be unwanted. This is especially true when they try to figure out what's going on, clearly confused, and he keeps saying, "oh well you modeled for this right?"... Like, there can easily be a disconnect between when the prankee wants it to be over (even if they did find it funny), and he's still going. This would honestly sketch me out because eventually I WOULD want to know how he did this (probably sooner rather than later), and him continuing on like he has no idea with a deadpan tone would freak me out. Because, really, this could easily be creepy if done by the wrong person with the wrong intentions, and I would have no way to know what a random person's intentions were off the bat.
Which isn't to say I'm against this prank, I love these vids and find them hilarious when people respond well. I just know myself and I know that while I wouldn't be angry or anything like the last few, I also probably would just find this more overwhelming than super funny.
@lightinthefield that's why I think it's best to get permission from the boss and owner. Hopefully, they would know you well enough to be like, "Leave this person alone." And they would only target someone with a really good sense of humor. Otherwise, yeah, you'll never know what they're going through or think.

I mean to some extent I can understand why some people may be uncomfortable with this prank as even I don't really like having my picture taken or being recorded without my knowledge of it. But this is a funny prank, even I would get a laugh out of it if someone did it to me. That last girl was definitely overreacting a little. He was smart to record the entire encounter in case she tries to get him in trouble later.
Its one thing to take your pic and then slap it on an actual ad or product and sell it as their own. When used in this manner Im all for it. Im a photographer and I try not to get too much of ppls property if I take pics of something. Like if you have some amazing flowers out front of your house and its not on your porch but closer to the sidewalk area I will try to get a pic of them but Ill do so at an angle that doesnt show the house address or front door or inside any window.
