why would you want to remove all that anti rust protection. tractors that are used for real work it matters more the function that what it looks like. there is one thing to have a parade showpiece its another to have a machine that actually gets real work done
If you call that Anti-rust protection, it is not working because I have seen rims and tractors rust in the field to the point that the rust ate the whole tractor and the tractor ended up in the scrapyard to be destroyed. There are smart people who use today's technology and techniques that will restore an old tractor to be used again in the field for the next 72 years. After working hard in the field, the tractor gets cleaned up and washed only to be in a parade the next day. Then it goes back out into the field and work for what it was designed to do. Work Smart, not hard.
