Interesting and informative video. We own a Casita and are fans of molded fiberglass trailers, including the Escape trailers. Looking forward to seeing the Escape 23.
We are on trailer number 7, yes our seventh trailer, 6 was an old Escape 17B and trailer 7 is a 2020 Escape 19. The 19 will outlast my kids. Quality is top notch. Our 5th trailer was a Fleetwood Wildwood and the slide leaked from day one, it was garbage at best. Our Escape has everything we need to travel for weeks or months. Beware, every campground you go to someone wants a tour.
Thank you for your kind words! Crafting each Escape trailer is truly a labor of love, and we take pride in ensuring that every detail reflects our commitment to quality and craftsmanship. If you have any questions or would like to learn more about our process, feel free reach out or check out our website. escapetrailer.com/
Really interesting video. Thank you. How long is that poor guy doing the "Bonding the Shells" section trapped inside the trailer until the door is cut? Ha ha. Does that really happen after the "Releasing stage"?
Hey thanks for reaching out and thank you for your interest in our trailers! Unfortunately, we do not offer just the shell on wheels as an option. Our goal is to provide customers with the best possible finished product, complete with all the features and amenities that make our trailers unique and functional for adventures on the road. However, if you have any specific customization needs or questions about our trailers, feel free to reach out to us, and we'll be happy to assist you further.
@@takeyourescapeI have been contemplating the same idea for years, as I would build a 'simple' removable interior. HOWEVER,I just watched your ASSEMBLY video, and now realize how involved and systematic, AND how many intricate steps are required and there is NO stage of just a shell unit. Impressive manufacturing, complex and high quality.
I don't understand the purpose of engineering in water collection points underneath the floor around the outside border. are the edges of the plywood floor glassed in? It seems like a persistent leak of internal systems could conceivably rot this floor
Thanks for the question! It's designed to handle condensation from breathing and moisture buildup on the walls, allowing water to drain out efficiently. This system works exceptionally well, preventing floor rot. Plus, all the floors are coated in resin, providing a sealed and durable surface.
We use a combination of chopped fiberglass strands and fiberglass weave, depending on the location. The fiberglass is infused with resin and hardens to create an incredibly strong composite structure.
Very grateful we found Escape, we’ll own our 21NE the rest of our lives.
🥰🥰
Nice video! Thank you for showing how the shell is made.

E17 & E19: direct descendants of my old 18ft Trillium 5500! Awesome trailers!
Thank you so much!

Do you think you will ever create a front wet bath in 17 or 19 foot? I think it would be a sell.
Great informative video. I am sold. Sold 3.5 years ago😄. I have the best travel trailer on the road, just saying.😊
I hope to own one someday.
When that time comes you know where to find us! 😊escapetrailer.com/
How much weight does the top cot hold in the E19? And can you put the bunks in the E17 into the E19?
Hi Ima,
The weight limit for the cot in the E19/21NE is 200lbs. The Gaucho Bunk is not an available option in the E19.
Really interesting video. Thank you.

How much does a mold cost?
can i buy just the shell on wheels like you show at the end of the video?

Hello, very informative video. So fiberglass cloth or mesh not used, would it still give the strength?
Thank you
