Your Riverside lunch/fly-fishing videos are my favorite! I am also a fly-fisherman. Thank you so much for sharing these with us. God bless you, Wako. John
I am a longtime fan of your channel good sir. I have been watching since the summer of 2009, and I have brought your channel up in numerous conversations with knife/outdoor enthusiasts who, like me, have learned so much your channel too. You truly are an unsung hero! I have been in the market for a bark river blade with a scandi grind for years (ever since I saw one in your video years back), but where I live in Canada you cannot get your hands on BRKT products these days. If you are ever to sell any knives in your collection (and I mean EVER), please reach out so I can try to purchase one from you. It would bring me immeasurable pleasure to own a blade form the fabled virtuovice. Cheers my good man
Your riverside lunch/knife review videos are some of my favorite on TH-cam. I always find myself every year or so going through your old riverside videos. Really excited to see a new one pop up in my feed! Keep them coming!
I think it's lovely that, as you grow older, you've kept true to your interests and passions. May you continue on this path, and keep your peace, until your time is at its end.
Another wonderful fly fishing, cook and eat video. Doctor you are such an inspiration. You say you are old, but how old are you really. You are still limber, and able to kneel onto your knees. Best wishes to you and your family.
Extraordinary thanks to you for your videos! Please make them much longer and show more detail on your doings out in the bush. You can really hold people's attention the entire time you are sharing your world.
Wonderful video sir. Watching this brought me back to when I first discovered your channel. Just like old times. Very relaxing. Thank you very much for sharing!
Wako San another wonderful video. Should you ever come to New Zealand bring your fly rod and look me up when you are in the South Island. We can do a catch and cook up. We’ll need a big pan though we are blessed with less fish but average is much bigger. 😊
Dr. Wako, Have you thought about doing a video showing us your fishing gear? Love to see what you have an hear your experience with the equipment. Stay safe! Thank you.
A bear bell? We used them on our mountain bikes when in Okutama, don't know if there really were bears there but my Japanese friends said we had better use them anyway. We unfortunately only disturbed some hunters!
You must come here my old friend so I can take you fishing here. Rainbow and Brook Trout but much bigger the flavor is amazing. I sometimes have them just as you did here half roasted and sashimi for the other half. Or maybe Northern Pike or Muskie much bigger fish with teeth. LOL
Good lunch and trip; I really missed seeing your trips whether they are fishing or hunting. I think the firebox stove doesn't have enough airflow where it was placed, and so over stuffing it choked out the oxygen. With birch bark so thin and curly it was much less dense and has more air, and then once started it ran so strong that it created its own draft. Just my guess!

Wako, you sir, are extraordinary. Thank you for bringing us to the riverside.

Fish you have caught, are they not too small?

Is the tundra the same as the Canadian, but with different handles?
The Canadian is a 4 inch blade and the Tundra is a 4.5 inch blade.
Why do you wear the bells?
good to see you again
Thanks for this video. Do you ever use tenkara rod to fish for trout?
Why the bells 🔔🎐?
You must come here my old friend so I can take you fishing here. Rainbow and Brook Trout but much bigger the flavor is amazing. I sometimes have them just as you did here half roasted and sashimi for the other half. Or maybe Northern Pike or Muskie much bigger fish with teeth. LOL
🎣🐟 In Canada we call those speckle trout 🐟🎣 🇨🇦🇨🇦. What's your length of your ultralight fly rod as well as the name of your Reel and line and rode??
Nice watch which Casio is it?
いつもゴープロ目線なのでこの角度で見れて新鮮です 楽しそう
Very good!
I would like to know Your opinion about the Bark River clip point knives, please make a video review of this knife. Thanks!

Really enjoy watching you fish. How long of a fly pole do you use?

He posts more on his other channel if you don't mind it being only in Japanese. th-cam.com/channels/Zkq6PkauqM-3xJqm9mT9lA.html
@@sithus1966 Thanks for the heads up!
Why flick the fish like that? Never seen it on previous videos.
Where is Bark River Tundra located ?
