His timing of the snap count was impeccable!!! People used to call him Baby Jesus...he definitely had an intuition about where the ball was going to be. MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE PLAYER IN THIS ERA!!!
When Ray Lewis, Ed Reed, and Troy Polamalu were in there prime was when the Steelers vs Ravens rivalry was an all time high. I think it’s the best rivalry in football.
Hey there dude, I must tell you Troy Polamalu was an amazing football player. He played like he was on fire. His hair was insured for one-million dollars. He was a stud of a football safety. He was really good. He was a ball hawk!!!! You'll see!!!! His actions on the field spoke for themselves. He was BAD to the BONE!!! He had SO much fun out there. To him it was FUN..... He made good players look bad. He was that skilled!!!!!!!!! A true great! Enjoy.........
The funniest thing about Troy is you see his play and think my God what kind of monstrous man is this..... then hear him talk and he has such a soft voice
As a Steelers fan, I still miss him on the field. I wear his jersey every Sunday on gameday. He was not only a great football player, but a great person. He was tough on the football field and a softie when the game was over. We miss him (and his hair!)!
Troy. Offenses tried to plan around him alone. It proved extremely difficult, basically the Steelers let him do what he wanted on the field without question. They trusted his instincts and to be at the right place at the right time. It's was difficult to prepare for him because you never knew where he was going to be or what he was going to do.
That play where Troy jumped over the line is a feat amongst itself, but the more remarkable thing is he knew the snap count. Absolutely incredible, you’ll have linemen that play hundreds of downs on the line and jump offsides.
I know it’s 2 years late but Troy and Ed Reed played 2 very different positions on the defense. Both safeties but one was a strong safety, the other a free safety. Both best at their respective positions
Troy and Ed are the best at their respective positions. You cant really compare them. They are both safeties but had vastly different responsibilities. Strong and free safeties are as different as outside and inside linebackers.
If you ASKED Troy and Ed, which was the GOAT...they'd each say the other was.... thats all you need to know... as a yinzer, I have the greatest respect for each and they are EASILY BOTH the GOAT
One person you definitely should do is deion sanders. That man was and if not the most athletic human being. Imo he’s be the guy to cover hill. If he played today. But not only did he play in the nfl. He played for the New York Yankee in the mlb. He’s in a whole different category among hall of famers.
Ed Reed was the type you were afraid to throw it to bc you knew he would probably pick it off. Troy was the type you were afraid to throw it to bc he was abt to put your receiver on IR OR pick it off.
Wassup I hate Being corny but I really do think your gonna get big on TH-cam every ones gonna know your name and I hope you have a good day mr rugby man
Apples and oranges between he and ED but the instincts, the ability to tackle and IQ on Troy is second to none, ED was better at picking off quarterbacks but he also benefited from having Ray
New to the channel. I think you’re all time favorite would be Bo Jackson. Dude was the best athlete the world has ever seen. Ran a 4.19 40 and was played in 2 major league sports at the same time. Being an MLB all star and pro bowler in the same year
Troy played in 3 Super Bowls. The Steelers beat the Ravens 3 times that year. Beating Ed Reed and Lewis and Suggs. Ed was good. Troy is the greatest safety in my opinion. Troy and that defense were pivotal in getting to 3 SB.
May I suggest you locate and review Lawrence Taylor and Dick Butkus. Butkus own team mates said they were afraid of him. Both of these linebackers are hall of fame good!
Here are s few other defensive players: Ronnie Lott Reggie White Charles Edward Greene (Means Joe Green) Ricky Jackson Mike Singletary Deacon Jones (He wasn't the meanest defensive player, but he dominated the position) Deion Sanders
Btw, if you get around to the toughest offensive players, start with Jim Brown. That man ate lightening, shit thunder, and made other teams hide in their locker rooms. Walter Payton, Barry Sanders, Emmitt Smith, Earl Campbell, and some others were, absolutely, top tier. But Brown was just a while different animal.
You could take both. Reed was free safety and Troy was strong safety. It’s weird how they get compared because they have different responsibilities in their respective defenses
Ed Reed vs Troy Polamalu... You can't compare a free safety vs. a strong safety. That's like comparing a fullback to a half back. They're too different. Both were amazing athletes and definitely they were the best at their positions when they played the game, but I don't think you can say one was better than the other.
Troy would be my pick. The guy’s timing was impeccable. He had speed, toughness and incredible agility. Just on a stand point of watching the Steelers vs Ravens rivalry including playoffs, Troy had a far bigger impact in those games than Ed Reed had.
Barry Sanders and Adrian Peterson were two VERY entertaining running backs. Deion Sanders was one of the biggest stars of his time and some people who watched him will say he is the greatest nfl athlete of all time he was so fast they even had him play offense and defense at one point.
Hey bro. You want to do a video on a true monster. Go do the Steve Smith Sr one. The dude was often the shortest dude in the field with the biggest heart. The phrase "if you gunna talk about it be about it". Never has applied to anyone more then Smith. Mighty Mouse was a grave digger and he played WR. From punching teammates in the mouth to punching other teams players lol. But more often putting um under the turf.
It’s hard to compare Troy and Ed reed. As a Steelers fan my choice is biased but they played different positions. Ed reed was a pure ballhawk free safety so probably better in coverage but Troy was a strong safety in a blitz heavy 3-4 defense so he was more often in the box blitzing or stopping the run. So I can’t say who’s better but all I know is they’d make a scary secondary if they played together.
I think it’s the best rivalry in football.
either them or the niners and seattle rivalry
Clay, I still have no idea how some of the payers in each team survived. That rivalry wasn't about the scoreboard, it was personal.
@@chewychew8519 that’s not true at all
Bears vs Packers even though the Packers win almost every time now
Naw New England and New York Giants no kizzy
Hey there dude,

facts 😂
Truly the epitome of a Polynesian man. 😂 Can bring the wrath of GOD! But would much rather share a meal and a laugh with you.
Where you go man? 😪 just found your videos and I need more!
Facts I was looking for this comment yo I’m tryna see if bro ok
Tory and Ed played very differently. It's like comparing Larry Bird and Magic Johnson. They were basically the perfect contrast and both are legends.
I rarely see troy Polamalu reactions for some reason. One of the best safeties of all time and my favorite player to play for my favorite team.
Hahaha you got me to subscribe with the HBO joke 👏🏽 Props
You made this video on my birthday. If I'm building a defense, Troy Polamalu is pick 1.
As a Steelers fan, I still miss him on the field. I wear his jersey every Sunday on gameday. He was not only a great football player, but a great person. He was tough on the football field and a softie when the game was over. We miss him (and his hair!)!
Where you at brother!!!
Troy the BEST Strong safety in Football history !!! Ed Reed is one of the BEST "Free" Safety's in NFL history !!
Just subbed and you hit your mark ahead of schedule! Good work bro!
Troy. Offenses tried to plan around him alone. It proved extremely difficult, basically the Steelers let him do what he wanted on the field without question. They trusted his instincts and to be at the right place at the right time. It's was difficult to prepare for him because you never knew where he was going to be or what he was going to do.
On top of being a great athlete, to all accounts he is also a terrific human being.
He'd be my first pick for D.
Ey dope vids good luck w the rugby and whatnot
Both were phenomenal. It was a gift to football to have them play at the same time. But Troy was the best
Troy Polamalu
Love the videos man, keep it up! Just subbed
That play where Troy jumped over the line is a feat amongst itself, but the more remarkable thing is he knew the snap count. Absolutely incredible, you’ll have linemen that play hundreds of downs on the line and jump offsides.

#SteelersNation adores our Troy. Can't want to go to Canton this year to see Troy inducted to the Hall Of Fame💛🖤💛🖤
I know it’s 2 years late but Troy and Ed Reed played 2 very different positions on the defense. Both safeties but one was a strong safety, the other a free safety. Both best at their respective positions

If you ASKED Troy and Ed, which was the GOAT...they'd each say the other was.... thats all you need to know... as a yinzer, I have the greatest respect for each and they are EASILY BOTH the GOAT
Troy is my all time favorite player
Polamalu and harrison/
Lewis and Suggs rivalry was insane
Do Randy Moss next
Sorry MCU, Mr. Polamalu truly had 'Spider Sense.'
Now it’s just “the poor mans podcast”
One person you definitely should do is deion sanders. That man was and if not the most athletic human being. Imo he’s be the guy to cover hill. If he played today. But not only did he play in the nfl. He played for the New York Yankee in the mlb. He’s in a whole different category among hall of famers.
This video was great! There’s a reason there isn’t a single dislike after a month. Keep up the great work man you can f-ing do it!
Troy, always
Ed Reed was the type you were afraid to throw it to bc you knew he would probably pick it off. Troy was the type you were afraid to throw it to bc he was abt to put your receiver on IR OR pick it off.
Troy hands down
Try was the greatest no doubt
Troy for sure
Wassup I hate Being corny but I really do think your gonna get big on TH-cam every ones gonna know your name and I hope you have a good day mr rugby man
Aye bro u good it’s been a min since u uploaded
Apples and oranges between he and ED but the instincts, the ability to tackle and IQ on Troy is second to none, ED was better at picking off quarterbacks but he also benefited from having Ray
TROY ALL DAY!!!!
They're both the best in their own rights
Ayo u under rated u funny 😆
New to the channel. I think you’re all time favorite would be Bo Jackson. Dude was the best athlete the world has ever seen. Ran a 4.19 40 and was played in 2 major league sports at the same time. Being an MLB all star and pro bowler in the same year
Anyone else new to this channel like this up so hopefully he sees it. Anybody who knows who Bo Jackson is aware “you don’t know Bo”
He didn’t run a 4.19
Gotta check out Christian McCaffrey. Loving the videos. Brings me back to my football heroes. Ray Lewis was a my favorite because I was a linebacker.
You should do a reaction to Eric berry, man was so unlucky
Do Brian Dawkins
Troy played in 3 Super Bowls. The Steelers beat the Ravens 3 times that year. Beating Ed Reed and Lewis and Suggs. Ed was good. Troy is the greatest safety in my opinion. Troy and that defense were pivotal in getting to 3 SB.
Do Brian Dawkins plz
YOU GOTTA DO THE HOLY GRAIL of RB 1.Barry Sanders 2. Walter Payton 3. Emmit Smith 4. Jerome Bettis
Troy and Ed played different positions and are two totally different but equally great players
May I suggest you locate and review Lawrence Taylor and Dick Butkus. Butkus own team mates said they were afraid of him. Both of these linebackers are hall of fame good!
Do Julio Jones
Should definitely check out Darrelle Revis highlights.
Saquon Barkley
You should do kam chancellor that guy LIT PEOPLE UP he was insane to watch
Here are s few other defensive players:
Ronnie Lott
Reggie White
Charles Edward Greene (Means Joe Green)
Ricky Jackson
Mike Singletary
Deacon Jones
(He wasn't the meanest defensive player, but he dominated the position) Deion Sanders

That man ate lightening, shit thunder, and made other teams hide in their locker rooms.
Walter Payton, Barry Sanders, Emmitt Smith, Earl Campbell, and some others were, absolutely, top tier. But Brown was just a while different animal.
Ed Reed gave Tommy Brady WAY more issues. Based on that alone, GIMME ED!
Troy a strong safety and Ed was a Free Safety, they could both play both sure but I like to say Ed the greatest FS and Troy the greatest SS
Troy would plow someone into the turf and sincerely ask if they were alright.
You could take both. Reed was free safety and Troy was strong safety. It’s weird how they get compared because they have different responsibilities in their respective defenses
You gotta watch BRIAN DAWKINS/WEAPON X the Scariest safety
Sean Taylor would have something to say about that.
@@myopinionmeansmore he was great, but too short of a career to be scarier than b dawk
I agree
Troy All Day
You need to react to NHL hardest hits
You’re gonna end up doing Sean Taylor sooner or later but when you do.. I’d seriously recommend using the video “Sean Taylor, a football life”
He already did Sean Taylor
@@briancastellanos7198 damn I even looked through the channel for that specific vid and didn’t see it lmao
You should do cam chancellor and Barry sanders
Yo you should do a reaction video on the Baltimore Ravens 2000 defense. One of the best ever
Ed Reed vs Troy Polamalu... You can't compare a free safety vs. a strong safety. That's like comparing a fullback to a half back. They're too different. Both were amazing athletes and definitely they were the best at their positions when they played the game, but I don't think you can say one was better than the other.
You’re getting a ton of the legends done, but Jaire Alexander is a phenomenal corner coming up right now. You gotta check him out
Troy would be my pick.
Troy btw your channel fire
Troy = best Strong safety ever
Reed = best Free safety ever.
Personally I would pick Ed Reed but there's no wrong decision
You should react to Brian Dawkins (Weapon X)
This was almost like a death tribute. Felt like he died lol
Also Bo Jackson’s 30 for 30 is a must, the guy played MLB and NFL and both in college and ran insane speed, the 30 for 30 is truly a great watch!
one plays free safety One play strong safety so I'll take them both
Ed is more of a Free Safety and Troy was a Strong Safety... both are Safety GOATs though
Ed Reed and Troy played different safety positions. Ed was Free Safety and Troy Strong Safety.
Yo you gotta do Kam Chancellor, Brian Dawkins, Russell Wilson, Richard Sherman, Earl Thomas
Gotta do one the GOATS my absolute DAWG Patrick Willis man he is an absolute goon
Yea Steve Smith sould square off with LBs
It’s hard to compare Troy and Ed reed. As a Steelers fan my choice is biased but they played different positions. Do Joseph Vincent’s video of Michael Vick!!
