Yea true I could pair it with the exa.but.I just spooled it with 140m of 1.0 (for the 7'6 zero and also on the Cedan and Grupla perhaps) going to use it primarily for open water fishing, I'll try it like that with say 2.2 G just to see but I plan to put the GIU on this, aurora on creek dance and red dragon GIU on Histar rod and that Startlure Zacco. Might do a quick video showing my setups.

In an ideal world I would have liked the shorter casting and maybe this longer one in spinning. I’m no 1g expert haha. Windy AF here so I dunno when I’ll get to use it. Hopefully in the next 2 weeks
Hey mate, I've just bought the UL .8-6g size in the 5'9" size for kayak fishing. Probably be chasing trout and bass with it. The quality is amazing for the price. It is almost a copy of the Daiwa purelist ( they even stole the name). I haven't fished with mine yet, thrown a few small plugs in the back yard, feels great. Thanks for doing the video.

The color is similar to the Eagle Claw Featherlite rod. This was my first light baitcast rod i had it paired up with the BPS prolite finnesse model PRLO5HB
I just learnt when editing this video...this is kind of a knock off of a Daiwa Purelist (same name). My friend sent me a pic of his today...very similar. Classic timeless trout look.

Nah they a pretty different. Fire Phoenix is a faster action more stout rod. The Acehawk is very slow action. Overall the Acehawk is a higher quality rod also. I have had both
Solid reel, not many people but then today because they are a little more expensive that other variants of that same reel but I think it looks the best of them.
Definitely on my to do list, it's a good option for the Perch which are kinda targeted like bass, often in the reeds along the bank. I have probably 100 packs of plastics but most of them are $2 AliExpress ones I will never use. Good to give away to kids. I outta make up some variety packs and give them away

The rod is very cheap but maybe they postage will make it more expensive. For me the postage was about 2/3 the rod price.
I'd like to see some budget BFS Ajing rods. Longer finesse rods for surf fishing or long casting rods.

What is your heaviest lure used on this one?
3.5g or so total weight, but that overloads it a bit so maybe max 3 would be better but 3.5 won’t snap

Histar GIU would probably be the best choice for me, other reels I have either have line or handle knobs on that suit a certain rod.
