NGL cosplayers have lately been the type of people I look up to. The fact that they’re willing to put in all this time and effort to make a costume to show how much a character means to them is pretty admirable. It’s also motivated me to do my own cosplays.

Wished I could have been there. Unfortunately I was busy with a Fighting Game Community event called Battle Arena Melbourne that was somehow in a different area of the city and wasn't able to attend OzComic Con due to that clash of events distance away.
Great video, hope you enjoyed Melbourne. Thank god you missed the month of May, coldest May in 170 years. Definitely not the warmest part of the country. I wonder if cosplayers prefer cooler climates, might be uncomfortable in some of the costumes in warmer weather.

Definitely tell that my comic and video game knowledge tends towards a more western hemisphere (aka US) mind set, a number of these I didn't... okay it is because I live in my own corner of my imagination LOL. I think I need to date other fandoms...
I think it would be good if animators could use anime characters and scenes to propose the prototype of clothes that can be worn on the street, on vacation, or at social gatherings. And I think it would be great if cosplayers could have fun by making their own and hold contests. After that, I think it would be good if professional clothing designers from France, Italy, etc., finished it in earnest so that ordinary people could enjoy it in their daily lives. And I think that a part of the sales (a fixed percentage of the selling price) should be returned to the animators.
In my era, there were no beautiful nerdy women so Im very jealous of young nerdy men these days. That is, until I realize they still wouldnt have given me the time of day back then :)
Please be careful with this line of thinking, I suffer from low self esteem too and it often makes us easy targets for some very toxic and hate filled groups hoping we will be their next uncritically thinking defensive fanatic follower. Instead realize your own beauty can be more than skin deep and suddenly you might find other’s also have choices rather than looks to be complimented on. Your best days aren’t behind you, they are in front of you.
You lack a pair. Also, women need to have their egos crushed, as that is how you deal with arrogant people, and ditto for the men that are egotistical as well.
