    I thought TLC was fine. It's certainly better than Survivor Series, gotta disagree w/ you on this one Adam.

      You're one of those kids that WWE is catering to, so fair enough. They have no real storylines but as long as there are tons of spots we've seen a million times and broken chairs and ladders scattered around the ringside it's "epic" for you.

    You have been asking for Reigns to show that bad-ass side and just beat the shit out of people - when he does that you complain that it's not organic? So Bryan going against the Authority was a copy of Steve Austin too? Reigns had a great showing last night and you're just nitpicking.

    • @noxiousd
      @noxiousd 9 ปีที่แล้ว +32

      +Deniz Ronayne have to agree, the fact he slightly won the crowd over tells you something, silent destroyer Reigns is a million times more marketable than wisecracking Jock Reigns

    • @GearedCookies

      +Deniz Ronayne Agreed. Adam was a bit unfair this time.

    • @TheMightyConnor1
      @TheMightyConnor1 9 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      +Deniz Ronayne No the Austin thing was about Austin beating up Vince. The Bryan thing was about the authority trying to keep the title of him. Two separate stories completely. You are also making the mistake of thinking that just because someone can keep going through everything makes them good. It just means that he no sold peoples finishers so they could do what they wanted in the match. He looked INVINCIBLE, not great like Rollins at Night of Champions, invincible like Super-Cena. They need to find a niche or a gimmick for Reigns that works not just giving him other peoples gimmicks until something sticks.

      Bryan won people over by being great and being and underdog stone cold won people over by being a bad ass and by being hilarious Roman Reigns is getting put on our screens because of the way he looks and the family he has had in the business you can't make fans like someone it has to happen naturally I don't think anyone hates Roman just the way he's been shoved down our throats

    As a spot-fest or even a collection of matches, TLC was pretty decent. But in terms of storylines and furthering feuds, this was terrible. Agree with the points on the spot of the night being in the first match (amazing Salida Del Sol) and the endless drubbing of Triple H to the point that I felt like I was watching a heel batter a babyface, but thought the Divas match was pretty good myself.
    ADAM, I will continue to aim to get you on the EWN Podcast for the rest of time.

    Reigns did get a massive babyface reaction though after beating the crap out of HHH. Because he was being booked as a legit unstoppable bad ass who gives no fucks. He doesn't have to turn heel for his character to become likable. He just needs to talk less and kick ass more. And when he does talk there should be no corny jokes, no smiling & no child like crap. Just get to the point and beat people up!

    Sorry Blampied but you're wrong about Reigns not getting cheered. He got booed beforehand, by the time he was done with HHH he was cheered and getting "Thank you Roman". This is how you book Reigns. It's a shame because I'm a huge fan of you and the channel, but you're clearly just nitpicking here because you can't accept Reigns won over sceptical fans and didn't need to turn heel

  • @TheDude44464

    I think I'm going to unsub from this channel. Everything Adam says is so IWC and smarky, looking for any little thing to complain about, even when it was a pretty good show like TLC was. "Roman Reigns just hit an old man...a lot." So now HHH is an old man? No mention of that any other time he's gotten in fights the last couple years, and what about Tommy Dreamer who had an actual match that night? "Control C, control V. Why aren't you cheering??" Ya, because there hasn't ALWAYS been a wrestler who fights an authority figure for the last 20+ years.

    • @frodoshaggins3035
      @frodoshaggins3035 9 ปีที่แล้ว +12

      Triple h is older than tommy dreamer lol by only two years but still older search it up I'm not lying and he isn't the one saying "why aren't you cheering" he is saying it from the wwe's stand point of view because it seems to Adam and to a lot of other people that they're just putting roman into other peoples story lines and hoping it will work because they can't make any charisma for the guy or any unique character...he had unique character in the shield and well they buried that so they need to do something and beating up an old man (46) just isn't it

    Really disagree with almost everything in this review. The end of the PPV was well done and finally made Roman look like an unshackled powerhouse. The tag triple threat was very good, and the IC title match was decent. Overall it punched above it's weight as a lesser PPV.

  • @weatherep0rt
    @weatherep0rt 9 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Honestly I can agree with you except for Reigns. Look, I hated him and how they were booking him as the next Cena/Bryan but at least they made him what he's born to do. Be a badass. He snapped and the crowd LOVED IT, I loved it. They were cheering YES chants and "Thank You Roman" chants. It was kinda a spot-spot PPV (Loved Ambrose winning btw) but that ending was great and the reaction of the crowd and the WWE Universe proves it.
    Bad ass Roman Reigns is the best Roman Reigns. (If they could make him heel it'd perfect lol)

  • @WWELoquendoY2J
    @WWELoquendoY2J 9 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    *This is How WWE Should book RTWM*:
    At TLC, Roman beats Sheamus for the title. How? Easy, CHEATING. Roman turns heel and stands as the champion. Next night, on RAW, Roman turns his back to his "fans", and talks about how he is the next big thing and the WWE Universe doesn't appreciate talent *blablabla* and when he was bout to finish....*SETH ROLLINS MUSIC HITS* (let me dream) It causes a HUGE TITANIC POP, everyone goes wild, and he enters with the title, he enters the ring, and stands head to head with Reigns, both have the title, (kinda like Cena and Punk in 2011) And they fight for the title at the Rumble, it's spear, after pedigree, after curb stomp (let me dream) At the end, Roman spears and pins Seth, Seth's foot is on the ropes, but the ref doesn't see it, and he wins. Later on that night, Dean Ambrose wins the Rumble 2016. At the next RAW, Seth and Roman are discussing over who is the champion. "You didn't beat me *blablabla* " "Yes I did *blablabla* " and Dean's music hits and the three are standing in the ring, no words, it's on. At FastLane It's Team Reigns (Reings and Owens) vs. Team Dean (Dean and Ryback) vs. Team Seth (Seth and LESNAR) Lesnar betrayed Seth and Team Reigns pick up the victory. At WM is Reigns vs. Seth vs. Dean for the title, a No Holds Barred. An amazing match, Seth is outside the ring, and Roman is about to spear Dean, when he was on his way (running) Seth outta nowhere does a Curb Stomp from the third rope, Dean inmediatly does A Dirty Deeds on Seth and wins. Dean then loses the title against Seth at Summerslam. *It's unrealistic, but let's dream for it at WM 33*

    On the paper and personnal opinion, it was the best match on the card but in the "Reality Era" it was a mess, not even 15 min of match for a 4 vs 4 Elimination tables match ?! Tease a table to be set in fire and... nope !

    "Turn Reigns heel." Sounds a lot like a certain other Superman I know. Really, if creative is dead-set on making Reigns the next Cena, the guy who's supposed to be the face of the company and carry everything on his shoulders, then they're just going to repeat the process and never turn him heel. Let's go Roman/Roman sucks. Then again, he's only been on TV for 3 years so there's plenty of time for change, but of course this is WWE we're talking about here and they seem to vehemently dislike change.

      SimpleStinkfish The thank you chant was louder, but the boos were still audibly underneath, then when the chat died out, the boos were louder than the smattering of claps that could be heard underneath. And I don't know if the WWE screened the audience's gender ratio, but I could swear that 95% of his pop on Raw was comprised of squeaky, high-pitched voices. It just sounded like a lot of women and children showed up to this show. Again, Roman made progress at TLC, but you can't see he's over yet. There's still LOTS of work for creative and for Roman to do to get him legitimately over.

    100% agree there Adam. My biggest problem honestly wasn't the copy and paste Roman=Austin job. Instead, I'm genuinely confused that a lot of fans think its new writing for Roman, and that its a good direction. I think people forget that this whole Authority v. Roman thing has been going on and off for months. I mean christ, we saw Roman spear HHH less than a month ago, at the last PPV! That's not new, its the same stuff they've been doing for months now. If it leads somewhere new, then great. But as of right now, its the same old WWE writing.

  • @alexandercns
    @alexandercns 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Honestly I thought Roman Reigns running up the ladder and doing that little punch of his was pretty sick, but aside from that the only majorly interesting thing that happened in the PPV was that amazing tag match + Xavier on commentary. Holy shit I haven't enjoy a tag match in a long time, so that was special.
    Overall the PPV wasn't bad, but the main event just didn't feel main event quality. The fact that people were asking for CENA during the match and only chanted positively for Reigns in the events that came AFTER the match proves that. Meanwhile the arena exploded with "HOLY SHIT" after the Salida del Sol off the ladder. Good times.

  • @2011DrizzyDrake
    @2011DrizzyDrake 9 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hmm, I agree with most bar Roman's semi-ambush of HHH. Yes, turning him heel makes everyone happy, so they can boo him (or cheer him if you're a 12 year old boy or every woman on earth) but honestly, the last segment was actually pretty good. We do complain about how there's no superstar like D-Bry or Austin, then bitch about the fact that someone even dares to try and copy or emulate him. Roman has a lane that everyone but WWE can see; put him on the show and let him destroy everything. Not to talk and do schtick for 3 minutes (or an hour depending on your tolerance of food based PG jokes) but that's his lane. Rollins was allowed to be a trailblazer, Ambrose was allowed to be crazy (to some extent) but Roman was plucked and made to carry the company and we don't like it. But it's the natural choice. To be honest I think we're kind of bitching a little because WE didn't get Roman Reigns over. He went and got injured and WWE remembered the pops he got at RR'14 and tried to bring him back to revive them. Everything else was 'meh'. Kalisto has all the potential to be as big a lucha star as Rey Mysterio, Usos and New Day, would't mid that for a while, but done right. Barrett is the logical next IC contender if they want to sweep the League as a dominant force and this may be Owens' time to go on a World title chase, emerging if and when a face holds the title.
    TLC wasn't terrible, but maybe we're just cynical.

    I'd love to see Kevin Owens vs Brock Lesnar for WWE World Title. Why not. WWE needs a major heel, they lack it after Rollins got injured. Owens has just dropped IC Title, let's say he loses rematch too and then gets to Rumble and actually wins it.
    Meanwhile Sheamus retains against Reigns again and after match out comes Brock Lesnar. He destroys everyone in the ring, Heyman then announces Lesnar is coming for the title.
    Next night on Raw triple threat is announced and it's going to take place two weeks after that night ON RAW. Why not, it'll boost the ratings and when was the last time something like that happened?
    During match Triple H comes out in his Street clothes and destroys Reigns while Lesnar delivers two F5s and wins.
    In the meantime Owens destroys everyone in his way, doesn't matter if it's face or heel- he needs a build up. At Fastlane there is a Reigns vs Owens for no.1 contendership, Owens needs to prove himself and Reigns is just desperate. Roman loses and again HHH attacks him after match, setting up HHH-Reigns at WM.
    In the meantime Lesnar beats Sheamus to retain title and match at WM is set up- Owens vs Lesnar.
    Now, I know this is dangerous strategy, I know fans may be pissed off and I'm not sure if WWE would go this way but nonetheless...
    Owens beats Lesnar clean. I know Brock is unstoppable Beast, but WWE NEEDS a monster heel in the main event and Owens is a perfect choice. I doubt WWE will do it, but that's only how I think they should do it. Thoughts on this?

  • @RileyPaige
    @RileyPaige 9 ปีที่แล้ว

    Yeah I have to disagree with you on this one Adam. Do not misunderstand, Swagger v Del Rio was meh, Ryback v Rusev was pointless, and the main event couldn't exceed expectations because no one wanted the fight in the first place. However, I was there at TD Garden and it was the loudest I had ever heard a crowd cheer for Roman when he took out Triple H. Hell, they chanted "Thank you, Roman" at him. I agree he'll only work as a heel in the near future, but I think we're on that path. Especially since we might get an Ambrose v Reigns feud if we do!

A shit-load of superstars got involved in the Orton vs McMahon story, (which came from the Legacy vs DX/McMahon storyline.) like Cena, Batista, (who played a big part), even HBK at some times. I don't know if the former members of the Shield will reunite and turn on the authority. Or Reigns will just do the entire battle himself.

For the life of me I can't figure out why Rusev/Ryback wasn't on the pre-show and Banks/Lynch wasn't on the main show. I slightly agree with you regarding the main event. They certainly did a lot of spots and carnage, but it felt like that's what they were supposed to do, as opposed to the opening match which melt like it was just happening. I was also confused as to why Barret wasn't there or why Roman's friends to run in too. I didn't mind Reigns beating up Triple H, I just don't know how he's going to keep his job after that. My biggest disagreement was with the ending. Beating HHH is much different than Vince. Legends get a special place in WWE lore, especially guys like HHH. HHH is still a credible opponent. If HHH came back to win the Royal Rumble, not too many people would question it. They wouldn't like it, but it wouldn't break suspension of disbelief according to WWE lore. Vince was never a super established guy like HHH. Sure he fought in some matches now and then, but he never had an established singles star that made him always credible. I liked the end. It told a story

  • @harryking3215

    People always say "Turn Cena Heel" but honestly at this point in his career that makes no sense.
    With Roman it really does. Hell Adam just said they copy all these other stories (Daniel Bryan, Austin) why not copy the one that makes the most sense? The Rock was booed as a babyface so the WWE listened and said "fine" and turned him heel and he was part of the Corporation. Eventually his natural charisma paid off and people started to warm up to him and turned him Babyface again.
    Turn Roman Heel and if he is meant to be a Face people will eventually turn him (or maybe he will be an astounding Heel and there will be no need to turn him back). The longer they keep him Face the more people will hate him and eventually...you will ruin him forever.

I do think Roman getting on this "mean' streak is a good thing. but then again I don't hold my breath that it will last. wwe is so inconsistent. long story short. • @simplyamazin4184
    @simplyamazin4184 9 ปีที่แล้ว

    Here are my issues with Roman Reigns
    1. WWE needs to take this pressure off of him and let him develop on the Mic. The Same way Triple H was paired with HBK and The Rock joined the Nation. The fact that Roman hardly cut promos in the shield doesn't help his case.
    2. Let him develop his own character. This is hard because WWE really wants him to be a guy that appeals to casual fans and the IWC at the same time. The problem is Roman has had no breathing room to actually develop which leads me to:
    3. Please please please please please get rid of the shield music and entrance. Seriously. Why is this guy still living in the past? The shield has been broken up for almost 2 years, and this guy still comes out to the music. That alone has seriously stunted his character to the point where no one really knows which direction he's in.
    4. He should not turn heel, right now. The reason why is because when someone turns heel, you want them to create heat. Roman's turn would be expected, and would create a big pop. The WWE doesn't need anymore "Cool Heels" they need legit over characters and legit characters you actually hate. It would be much more advantageous to help Roman get over, but the problem creative is having is the same one they've had with John Cena in recent years:
    5. Roman is NOT an underdog. By any stretch of the imagination. Roman vs Dean was the most lop sided main event I've ever seen at Survivor Series. It was so lop sided towards Roman I was sure Dean was turning and winning via "shenanigans" Roman's character should be a "punch first, ask questions later" kind of guy. A guy you could actually believe was a former gun for hire to be the muscle of the shield, and protect CM Punk's title reign.
    6. He should go into Wrestlemania season as champion. Having Roman being a confident Champion going into the spring would be a much easier pill to swallow than having him win the Rumble again and having him go over that night to win. Unless WWE creative wants him facing Hunter at Mania which I'm totally fine with, as long as Sheamus isn't anywhere near the Main event. They're trying to sell tickets to this thing lol.
    Here are the the things I actually like about Roman Reigns
    1. His in ring style. He is not a technical wrestler and he shouldn't be. He should be a hard hitting guy with only a few actual wrestling moves that are just very effective. He could "maybe" use a submission hold, but overall I like his limited moveset. He should just be a guy who hits really hard. WWE could use a little more of that to be totally honest with the overly-flashy signature move fest going on.
    2. Everyone is selling his punches really well. From Lesnar to the announcers. You can't blame any of them for Roman not getting over. Lesnar was busted open at Mania after the first connected punch. That was a huge sell for Reigns. As a matter of fact, the only reason Roman isn't over is solely to blame on Creative and Roman himself.
    3. His character seems just as overwhelmed over all of these events as he is. You can chalk this up to bad acting, but I like the idea of Roman as a wrestler question his own ability while having to convince himself to actually perform.
    4. When he does turn heel, it will be glorious. If creative knew how to book Roman, they would have known that he isn't a Daniel Bryan getting screwed by the Authority. He's the Randy Orton getting the rub by the Authority for no reason. WWE should be embracing the IWC's heat on him for being the "company guy" but here's to hoping they don't do something so short sighted and predictable.
    5. Potential feuds with John Cena and the Rock. If there's anyone for Cena to put over in a big way, it would be a heel Reigns. Or the Rock coming back for a match with him down the road for "disrespecting the family."
    6. He's not wrestling the Big Show every night anymore. And thank God for that.

    Couple critiques I have with this video. I don't know if I like Adam trying telling us to remove the TLCs from the mix and then analyze the night because that's kind of the purpose of the pay-per-view. It's WWE's "demolition derby" it's not about great storylines, for the most part, it's about exciting spots. People pay to see that, so that's what WWE gives them. Also this Reigns vs. Authority storyline is a tried and true angle. All storytelling relies on revisiting the tropes that came before it. So I don't really see the problem with Reigns vs. Authority being that they "ripoff" Austin vs. McMahon/corporation, I see it as them not being creative enough about how they rip it off and not really giving the fans what they want. The fans don't want to see "new" storylines. They just want to see storylines done well, with people they care about. How to get the fans to care and how to sharpen up the storylines is on WWE to figure out, but I wouldn't say the problem is a "same old shit" problem on it's own.

    I have to disagree with Adam on this one. I came away from TLC feeling excited for Raw tonight (first time in quite a while). I agree that there was a good bit of filler, but even the filler served a purpose from a larger perspective. All three guys in the League of Nations who had a match (sorry Barrett) won and looked good doing it, which they all desperately needed after being booked poorly/aimlessly for months prior. I'm not saying all 3 matches were good, I'm saying that I enjoyed them because the League won them. Rusev/Ryback was meh, ADR/Swagger was... actually decent, definitely the best chairs match WWE has ever had (though it's still one of the worst stipulation matches ever); and I actually enjoyed the TLC match overall. Sheamus as champ is dull thus far, but they did the right move by having the stable look good in order to get people to take them more seriously. Yes, the TLC match was slow and there were moments I said "Oh god, do something! Anything!" but down the pike things picked up. One thing I did like about it is that they didn't center the match around the ladder and getting the belt, they just wanted to beat the hell out of each other. And the crowd really got into the match near the end. The last couple hope spots for Roman got a lot of noise, more than usual and with not too many jeers either. It might have been a similar instance of "We don't like you, but you're a helluva lot better than the other guy." And then the aftermath was exactly what everyone's wanted - Roman to snap and stop acting like everything's okay all the time. Everyone ate it up, too, so I don't agree with the copy-and-paste comparison. Yes the boss-vs.-employee story has been done to death since McMahon/Austin, but The Authority wasn't just gone when Seth got injured, they had to do something. For a guy like Roman who has come close to winning the big one and coming up short because of shenanigans, it makes sense for him to get pissed and wreck shop. It should have come a lot sooner, but we finally have it. A heel turn is, heh "best for business" but I'm not sure how it will actually go over. Roman being pushed over the edge more by Dean winning a belt would work, but Sheamus is still the heel champion. You would have a heel vs. heel title situation, and those can be tricky to pull off. I'd be more confident if Roman had the mic skills to position himself for sympathy, but the "tater tots" bullshit killed whatever promo presence he had left.
    On the other fronts, like I said, I feel like TLC set up more for down the road as opposed to immediately payoff:
    - As stated before, the League looks stronger now
    - The Wyatts mowing over the ECW team makes them look better than they have in a while
    - We finally know who's supposed to be face and heel between Paige and Charlotte and I'm cool with the idea of Charlotte taking after her dad and being a snob. Getting to this point was crap and killed any chance of a real "revolution" for the women.
    - Ladder match was awesome and Kalisto stole the show. All three teams came off well and I'm always happy to see the New Day win. Added bonus for Xaiver Wood on commentary and explaining the downed guys on the outside as "recharging their stamina" like in WWE 2K16 as well as giving the other commentators hell for not calling the action correctly. The tag team scene is looking really good right now.
    - Ambrose taking the IC title from Owens not only sets up for the eventual rematch and a stage for Ambrose to shine and continue making the IC title look good, but also a way to get under Roman's skin. The match is itself was okay, kinda sloppy, and the ending roll-up was shit, so I'm hoping for greater matches later on because both these guys have the talent to put on great matches. The crowd is behind both guys and I want to see what Ambrose is gonna do now that he has the belt.
    In sum, the TLC PPV was better than expected and felt like there is finally some consistent direction after the panic of Seth's sudden injury. That doesn't mean everything's great, but the right people went over and there's hope yet for an overall stagnant product. But hell, maybe I'm just an optimist.

    The best part was Triple H would even fake being unconscious he just needed help getting up... If when the storyline called for him to be killed by Roman he refused to be buried... I love him because of this

    Man It really wasn't as bad as everyone is making it out to be. That Triple H beatdown was pretty good. Ambrose/Owens was really good for the time that given. I will agree with you on Ryabck and Rusev. But overall, It really wasn't as bad as everyone making it out to be.

    The show wasn't bad at all. Ambrose winning the belt was a huge sigh of relief for me to finally see Ambrose with the belt. Triangle Ladder match was super fun, yeah Del Rio/Swagger and Rusev/Ryback were boring and tedious but hell, all PPVs have some matches like these. ECW Originals vs Wyatts was fun for the simple idea of four old guys fighting the most broken current faction in the WWE. Main event was a huge chaos fest and quite frankly, we want our TLC matches to be chaotic and brutal. Thank god Roman didn't win, the whole crowd would have turned on this PPV. 7.5/10 for me, could of been 8 if Del Rio/Swagger and Rusev/Ryback were better.

    I didn't feel compelled by the story lines, but I think Sheamus and Reigns deserve credit for making the most out of their match. That was a serious slug-fest, with some more than solid spots, and Roman beating up HHH for so long, for me was very satisfying, and far better than the usual 'I'm going to look sadly into the camera, while JBL berates my continued losing record in title matches' ending.

  • @iGearshift
    @iGearshift 9 ปีที่แล้ว

    Honestly I thought the majority of the matches were not bad. The only problem I saw was that there was literally 0 story line involved with any of them, apart for the Charlotte-Paige standoff. The people loved seeing Roman go berserk and Kalisto pulling off all these crazy looking stunts. It was not your classic pay-per-view, but it wasn't a complete disaster either. Now, I know Adam is almost 100% story line driven, so he most likely won't agree with me, but from your average fan who doesn't always keep up with the rises and falls of the companies superstars, it was fun.

    Sasha and Becky Lynch put on a good match, unfortunately there was no story. The Tag Title match was great. Rusev and Ryback had an "okay" match with an utterly ridiculous story that did nobody any favors. Same with Del Rio and Swagger. I don't know why they refuse to put the US title on Swagger, his character is BUILT for that title. Wyatts vs ECW was rushed and the Bubba Ray Table spot left me with a case of epididymal hypertension. The IC title match is exactly what it should've been. It had enough time to hit all the spots and tell the story without boring fans. I may be alone here, but I actually enjoyed the Divas match for what it was: A heel turn for Charlotte. I like that she actually used the exposed turnbuckle to secure the win. It's not often we see that stuff coming from the DIVAS! Sheamus vs Reigns, I really didn't pay much attention to. I was listening to it while browsing eBay for retro video games to add to my collection. That tells you how well built that story was. The aftermath was fine, but I'm not going to congratulate WWE for doing what they should've done from the start.

    How hard is it to see that Roman Reigns doesn't work as an underdog. He's 6'3", buff as hell, and when he's not talking about Sufferin' Succotash and Tater Tots, could be seen as a brooding war machine you don't want to be fighting. And there's nothing wrong with that. He shouldn't turn heel, he should show intensity. Don't groom him to be Cena, groom him to be Brock.

    Seems the reason they took the belt off of Kevin Owens is he is set to have a match with Brock Lesner at Wrestlemania and Brock has no business fighting for the intercontinental title. I like it. Ambrose needed a big win and KO doesn't need a title to be entertaining.

    "They keep trying to copy/paste Roman Reigns into someone else's story line. Daniel Bryan? No. Stone Cold? No....the only way they're gonna make this work is with the inevitable, turn Roman Reigns *heel*."
    So....your solution to copy/pasting him into other people's story lines is......copy/paste him into The Rock's story line?
    Personally, I disagree with you (and a few other people it seems) that Roman *needs* to go heel to get over. Last night I was hearing people go nuts as he was trashing "The League of Nations," and then Trip. They just need to let him beast out and go savage on his opponents like he did. That's what it sounds like people want to see.

  • @kickstand801
    @kickstand801 9 ปีที่แล้ว

    Adam, you're a really cool guy, but this time i'll have to disagree with some of the things you've said. im definitely in agreement with the heel turn, so in that way they'll make him look invincible, but Reigns put on one hell of a show last night. if the crowd were cheering "Thank You Roman", that means he did something right. it may look like shades of Austin vs Vince all over again, and Bryan vs the Authority again, but their motives are different. Austin beat up Vince simply because HE CAN! end of discussion. Bryan feuded with the Authority for being a B+ player, and he had to occupy RAW in order to have his way, and the crowd definitely enjoyed that. and Reigns almost murdered HHH because he's frustrated with the Authority, the same way the WWE Universe is frustrated with the WWE. that's what it felt like to the fans. Reigns is nothing like Austin or Bryan, not even Ambrose. he's far more physically imposing so that makes him a major threat. they're reshaping him back into the badass he used to be in the Shield, because my God he destroyed everyone in sight: Ryback, Cena, Taker, Bryan, Ziggler, Double Spear on the Usos, brutal spear on Mysterio, making him the sole survivor at one point... that's the Roman Reigns we missed and needed. personally i think they should have done more with Roman Reigns wreaking havoc, like spearing a few of the referees, Superman punch to JBL, put Stephanie through the second announce table because, why not? and since Bubba failed to set the table on fire which was a crime, Reigns should have taken the bottle, emptied it out in the ring, and set the ring on fire, and leave through the crowd! yes, the whole PPV was crap but this time take it easy on Reigns, will ya?
