That was some tricky and skilled driving and something I'd like to see him try to repeat
2:13 - 3:20 brought a tear to my eye. When you walk in the Louvre, you should be greeted by a f*cking… 7000-inch, 4K, curved screen playing this 67-second masterpiece on a loop. 😭
Been waiting to see this thing run. 40 seconds in I was already going "damn" as your droop setup worked perfectly getting over without high centering on links.

I absolutely love this truck. I think the body mods make it look killer, I’m not a fan of the big bulky version we got in the US but you made it look awesome. Keep killing it bud.
I loved this hole story from day one. All the over the top body mods to the tires and seeing how it moves on the trails and rocks it's jus cool.

4:31 I love the slight roll backwards on the tree root before continuing on. It’s like it has a manual trans in it.

Really a fantastic build, a tribute to your skill as a scale builder and a real inspiration! BTW, you can strip the high pitched whine by using a low pass filter. The whine is pretty constant so it should be pretty straightforward, and once you add your soundtrack, any quality loss would be negligible! Hope to see more videos of this rig in action!

I really liked to see this build, haven't watched any of the build videos, sorry, but it looks like a project I've just ordered parts for. What wheelbase do you have on this?
My build will be a mostly 3s printed truck with a Comanche body, Trx-4 axles and gearbox from a Redcat Gen8 and my aim is to get it between 9.5 an10 inches of wheelbase 😁

I've run my Ascender K5 for a couple of years now and love it but I want something with close to no overhangs and short wheelbase instead.

I've seen the VS4-10 in a wide array of Terrain and Challenging spots. I've seen how smoothly and realistically it tackles Rocks, Sand, Mud, Water... Whatever, it looks like the real thing doing it!
(Except for those stupid Body Posts!!! My only real issue) Even that can be worked around.

Was a solid shake down run. And I really like this build. But I just can't seem to get behind the VS4-10, they look nice and the build quality seems solid, but nearly any cheaper rig with decent or the same tires will hang with them on the trail.
Beyond looking nice, the high travel design coupled with one of the lowest motor positions, and exceptional transmission design, I'd say this is a pretty difficult truck to beat, out of the box.
That should be my rig, it’s got my licence plate! 😲

What is the body you used on this chassis?
Land Cruiser 80 series. I got it on eBay.
I know it’s been 2 years but this body is sick! Gotta ask, did you cut it or buy it this way? Was it unbranded on eBay or did it have a brand name. I need this body LOL
For a first scale truck that is cheap what do you recommend?
I recommend saving your money and buying a quality kit the first time around. You'll be frustrated and upset when the cheap one you buy breaks, and there's little to no support for spare parts or aftermarket.
