Fire flies are quiet common in the area I live in and I still saw them for the first time a couple of weeks ago while walking in the forest when it was starting to get dark. It was magical. I loved that you included footage of your trip looks stunning ❤

I started Googling fireflies now to see what they look like upclose and learned they also live in Europe. So now I have to start searching actively, thought they only lived in North -America 😅

I saw my first fireflies two weeks ago. In the garden of my inlaws. They were just chilling in the grass. I live an hour away from Paris.
