This method truly, truly works. Failed the 1st time in RTA and Internal using sticker method. Kept using it during practice too until I found this video on Reddit. Followed the steps to a tee and worked like a charm & cleared in the 1st attempt. Thank you so much Pankaj and definitely sharing this with anyone having difficulty with clearing parking. 😊 It's all about positioning, slowing the speed and remembering the reference point to turn the steering at the right time.

Only had garage today and I tried this method for the 1st time and it totally worked!! No other adjustments done! I'm short so the sticker method definitely was not working for me. Turned the steering full right as soon as the point disappeared from the sideview mirror. Thanks for this!!! Onto my highway test!

It also gave me some relief when you mentioned that we can always switch to Drive and adjust my steering wheel if we realise we are about to touch the yellow line. I always assumed I had to park correctly in one shot.

Don't be slow there be very alert the immediate time the curve disappeared from the mirror is when you have to immediately and quickly turn ur handle completely. This is best and easiest way don't bother with the way the instructions are given by the teachers it's useless this is 100 percent accurate.

I will be honest. I followed this video as much as i could but still i was too much on my left. I still managed to pass by going forward. It cost me 2 points. I recommend to pratice a bit how to avoid dry steering. Personally i first moved slowly forward without moving the steer then once the car was moving i adjusted the car. Once i was ready i changed to reversed and again moved back slowly without moving the steer. Once it was moving i ajdjusted the car to park it and it worked. But please make sure not to do any other mistake.

@sarfu2333 yes they taught me the sticker method also at Belhasa but it is always a hit-or-miss for me, so yes I want to try this side mirror method. When you are checking the right side mirror while reversing, do you fully lean your head to the seat, or just normal? Asking because the position of the head also will make a difference when checking when the corner line will disappear in the right side mirror.

Follow these points: 1: Adjust your mirrors in the way he showed in the video 2: try to keep your car near the center line as shown in the video 3: start reversing slowly, turn fully right when the point disappears from the right mirror. And keep reversing. 4: if needed you can stop and move ahead and reverse again (make sure you don’t do dry steering) Just be confident you will pass. This method is fairly easy and works perfectly. I failed 2 times using sticker method and finally passed on my 3rd attempt using this method

Thanks for the information. First attempt i cleared all the parking except for garage and after watching ur video i pass it on my second attempt.. After using the sticker on the right back view i réalisé i cut too late and before touching the yellow line i move a little ahead and did a slow reverse and boom that was it...cleared.
Oh my god, thankfully I found this video during my lessons. Today the instructor told me about sticker method which is borderline horrendous. I kept seeing 2 lines in the back because I tried so hard positioning the sticker to the corner of the left line and back line. I hope I could use this trick in my next lesson. Will keep you all updated. F*ck stickers, I hate stickers from today onwards.
I just failed mine today with the Sticker reference. It can change a lot if your seating is not consistent.. I will try this method as a second check. Hopefully I will pass.

I tried parking with this method today and no doubt it is great reference point to park rather than sticker but I still failed since my car was parked very close to the line and the officer said the body of the car is clearly on line as you can see (yes I could see that) and on the basis of it he failed me. The best way to pass if you are struggling is to give up on the two minor points and move the car forward before hitting any hard lines. No dry steering. Once you move forward, your car is straighter and then it is a piece of cake. Otherwise, you will continue for multiple attempts.
Agreed - yes it's accepted look into the parking paper there's a row for additional reverse under garage parking but make sure you don't dry steer. Once you put into D let the tyre slowly start moving then adjust .....again after putting in R wait for the tyre movement then adjust and go back in comfortably.

This is good method for clearing the RTA test but not practical in use. Many basement parking's of the building and malls doesn't have centre line reference. And going so slow from so far can easily gets your parking spot theft by a pro driver who can garage park from short distance under 15 seconds

I tried parking with this method today and no doubt it is great reference point to park rather than sticker but I still failed since my car was parked very close to the line and the officer said the body of the car is clearly on line as you can see (yes I could see that) and on the basis of it he failed me. This was my third attempt (first by trying this method) but am positive I will clear it in next one. Thanks 🙏

I found this vidoe very useful as the sticker refrence point is difficult for me as a cut early so i hope the side mirror refrence point is more easy to judge hope this technique will work this time thanks sir for such wonderful video

The best way to pass if you are struggling is to give up on the two minor points and move the car forward before hitting any hard lines. No dry steering. Once you move forward, your car is straighter and then it is a piece of cake. Otherwise, you will continue for multiple attempts.

Agreed - yes it's accepted look into the parking paper there's a row for additional reverse under garage parking but make sure you don't dry steer. Once you put into D let the tyre slowly start moving then adjust .....again after putting in R wait for the tyre movement then adjust and go back in comfortably.
Very informative video even for angle and parallel parking show us position , control on a brake and steering wheel.

This is good method for clearing the RTA test but not practical in use. Many basement parking's of the building and malls doesn't have centre line reference. And going so slow from so far can easily gets your parking spot theft by a pro driver who can garage park from short distance under 15 seconds

hi Pankaj, I used to watch your videos its very helpful and I have cleared my theory test after watching your videos, my question is regarding smart yard test, if we fail in any one parking test, do we need to do again all parking tests or only the same in which we failed?
